Was pretty excited to get a chance to try out the food at this restaurant after seeing some posts all over my feed. Overall the food & service was great throughout the night & atmosphere was alright as well.
We made a reservation 2 weeks in advance on Mother's Day. & was politely greeted to our seats when we arrived.
When it came to the food, we really wanted to try out all the dishes, so we ordered & shared the dishes. When it came to the entrees we ordered the side of bread with the garlic spread, we also had the oysters, the salad (SALADE D'ENDIVES POIRE & BLEU, JUS DE VOLAILLE & MIEL) & the scallops (PÉTONCLES FRAIS, CHORIZO DE PASCAL). We really enjoyed the salad (SALADE D'ENDIVES POIRE & BLEU, JUS DE VOLAILLE & MIEL) & scallop (PÉTONCLES FRAIS, CHORIZO DE PASCAL) dishes & definitely recommend getting those to share. As for the mains, we had the fish dish (bar a la grenobloise), pasta (SPAGHETTI PESTO RAPINIS ANCHOIS & MOULES FUMÉES), the sausage dishes (SAUCISSE PURÉE CASAVANT) & the (ONGLET DE BOEUF SAUCE AU POIVRE TOPINAMBOURS & MAITAKE). Among the main dishes, the standouts were the fish & the pasta dishes. We felt the meat dishes were a bit underwhelming.
As for the service, we found it to be very attentive throughout the evening, & the waiting staff answered any questions we had about the menu, & constantly checked up on us to see if the food was to our liking. We also appreciated that they accommodated the service to English. Overall the service was excellent.
When it came to the overall atmosphere, it was alright, nothing amazing. We enjoy the overall location of the restaurant but I'm sure it is much better when the terrace is open during the summer. We just found the seating a bit cramped other than that the interior of the restaurant is nice.Voir plus

We spent Saturday night at Casavant & had an amazing time! Our server, Claire, paired both of our meals with the best wine we had all weekend in Montreal. She thoroughly explained why she chose both the red & white, & gave us phenomenal recommendations for menu items as well. We loved the snow crab tarte & hanger steak. She was just as lovely as the food! It's no surprise this restaurant made the top 100 list in Canada! We'll never forget it!Voir plus

Belle exploration de saveurs.
Au menu actuel, j'ai bien apprécié les pétoncles, l'onglet de boeuf ainsi que le baba.
Bonne sélection de vins avec des employés qui savent recommander.
Le cocktail corretto est très bon, mais à garder pour le dessert pour ne pas étouffer les saveurs délicates des plats.
Personnel souriant, gracieux & généreux.

Un petit bijou dans Villeray. Très beau petit restaurant & bar à vin. Le service est soigné, les plats sont savoureux à un prix très respectable. La carte des vins est imposante, mais on peut déguster au verre. Belle ambiance cosy. Nous sommes allés un vendredi midi & c'était presque complet. Pensez à réserver. Une expérience parfaite du début à la fin ! La nourriture était excellente, l'ambiance chaleureuse & le service tout simplement impeccable. Un immense merci à notre serveuse Adèle, qui a vraiment été exceptionnel - attentionnée, souriante & professionnelle. Elle a rendu notre soirée encore plus agréable. Le service du restaurant est excellent, le personnel est attentionné. La nourriture est bonne & les portions assez généreuses. Cependant, les plats proposés à la carte manquent un peu d'innovation (une purée saucisse, pour 24$, mériterait une touche de revisite). Les desserts sont simples & efficaces mais manquent de goût & finesse pour le prix affiché. La carte des vins est dispendieuse mais il y a un bon choix dans la variété.
