On a whim we decided to try this restaurant….& what a great ideas it was. Its beautiful, the service is excellent & the food was excellently prepared & served.
We had the dirty martini pitcher which come with hand sliced prosciutto, chips & olives that was superb. Focaccia, octopus, burrata & Cesar salad were also ordered. The salad was one of the best I've had in the city.
We went with a bunch of apps & to be honest I'd go back again to try the rest.
What an experience! This is not your ordinary'going out to dinner night' ... This was an evening of enjoyment for the eyes (the breath taking views of Montreal from the 46th floor), the designer rich but not pretentious decor, the glass wall kitchen, the bar.... the good vibe ambience, the comfy leather chairs & then...we tasted creative or innovative, I don't know what word to use but this was not ordinary Italian food. Every dish & every bite was amazingly delicious!
Oh & the service was impeccable as well as the drinks & the wines. The endives & poched pears salade, the octopus with the little red sweet peppers, the Dorade Carpaccio, the veal crustini, the meat balls made with short ribs, the pastas & the amazing veal côtelette... The desserts, simply divine. We were a few people so we could taste everyone's plates. This evening was really a celebration for all our senses. & to top it all, Chef Gary came to ask us if everything met our expectations. The only word that came to mind was PERFECTION! BRAVO CAPPELLO & all the team. We will be back.
Had a very positive experience here!!! The place itself is gorgeous & I was so happy with all of our food & drink orders. The waiters & maître were all so kind - we got lost on the way there & couldn't make in time, but the maître was super understanding & helped us find a table within 10 minutes at most.
The only that didn't blow my mind was the garlic bread, which was just okay, but the vodka pasta & tartare entrée were divine! It's an expensive place, but worth going for a special occasion.
Great ambiance & decent food. I believe the highlight of this restaurant is definitely the view.
Superbe trouvaille! Nourriture parfaitement exécutée, avec un souci du détail & un mariage savoureux & surprenant des saveurs. Ce qui a volé le show selon moi ce sont les délicieux cocktails qui sont des déclinaisons de Negronis. Mention spéciale au service & à la rapidité de la cuisine.
Très beau restaurant avec une ambiance feutrée. La nourriture est très bonne & les cocktails aussi.
Très excité par le fait de goûter au plat de boeuf Angus avec les pommes de terre. Malheureusement, la serveuse nous a proposé seulement une pièce de boeuf de 43 once (1,2kg) sachant que nous étions que 2 & que sur la carte le prix est affiché pour 1 once. Je ne comprends pas comment il n'est pas possible de partager la pièce de boeuf de 1,2kg en plusieurs sachant que le plat est servi sous forme de tranche de boeuf. Cependant, le tiramisu rattrape la déception du plat.
Bonne soirée au final.
we chose this place for my birthday, absolutely no regrets. our server was amazing & tried to help us or give some advice whenever it was needed. the food was amazing, even though the menu options are limited(probably because they opened recently).
i loved the atmosphere. however, the rainy weather didn't let us see the sunset. anyways, i would definitely come back!

Vraiment bon comme restaurant! Sa vaut pomal plus la peine pour le prix que le hiatus, & la bouffe est vraiment bonne! Les serveurs étaient vraiment sympathique & le service est très rapide! J'ai été chanceux de rentrer sans avoir réservé! Merci!
It was very good, but the tiramisu was a bit overpriced for what you get. I would've liked it without the crunchy chocolate inside too. Other than that, I had a great time.
We had an amazing experience! The food was incredible - we had the pepperoni pizza & the radiatori pasta, both were delicious. The waiter was so kind, & the chef was the sweetest! The service was a little slow tonight, but they made it up to us with great hospitality & the best tiramisu I've had in Montreal so far. The ambience was lovely, with a beautiful view of the city. Definitely a must-try spot - I'll absolutely be coming back!
Superbe endroit. Nous y sommes allés avec ma chérie pour son anniversaire & y avons passés un très bon moment. Des plats très bon, une vue imprenable. Un super moment passé la haut.
Nous avons découvert le Cappello hier soir & ce fut un vrai coup de coeur!
Tout était parfait : la bouffe délicieuse & savoureuse, l'ambiance chaleureuse & conviviale, la musique qui ajoutait juste ce qu'il faut à l'atmosphère à l'italienne, & que dire du service; impeccable! On sent que l'équipe met du coeur dans ce qu'elle fait.
Un endroit où on a envie de revenir encore & encore!

From the refined yet approachable dishes to the lively, electric atmosphere & the warm, attentive service … Everything was close to perfection. The Branzino was simply divine, a must-try. The entire evening was filled with laughter, smiles, & good vibes. I completely lost track of time, looked up, & remembered I was dining on the 44th floor, sur-real. Kudos to the entire team for creating such a memorable experience. Truly, a night to remember.
