On est très bien accueilli & on s'y sent vraiment bien. Les plats sont délicieux. Je reviendrai pour tester un autre menu du jour qui était très bon & à un prix abordable.

Completely & totally blown away. I was visiting Montreal with my family, & as someone who is VERY gluten-free, I had seen so many people on TikTok recommending Cantine Panella. I'm used to gluten-free restaurants & bakeries in Toronto serving food that can be crumbly, dry, or sometimes just plain tasteless, so I wasn't prepared for how much Cantine Panella would blow my expectations out of the water.

Being half-Portuguese & half-Italian myself, good food-especially good bread-is very close to my heart, & this place absolutely delivered. The focaccia was unlike anything I've ever tasted before, & somehow IT WAS GLUTEN-FREE. The combination of sweet & savoury flavours, lightly drizzled with oils over a crunchy, dense, beautifully textured base was incredible. I kept going back to buy another…& another. By the time we eventually left, we had gone back twice for more.

The staff & service were just as memorable as the food. They took the time to step aside & give us their personal Montreal & travel recommendations, & one of the owners was incredibly kind to my mother while we waited for our food. Everyone was so warm & welcoming that you could genuinely feel the family dynamic behind the place.

I didn't get the name of the gentleman with the cool hat, but he & his female coworker especially stood out & made our visit that much more memorable.

Thank you again to everyone at Cantine Panella for such an incredible experience. We will absolutely be back the next time we're in Montreal. My only complaint is that I wish you guys had a location in Toronto!!

I ordered the special of the day & it was absolutely delicious, I have celiac disease & it's hard to find places to eat comfortably so this was a treat. The owners are incredibly kind, & because I had a hard time choosing the bread that I wanted to buy, I was able to taste test every single one with the description of each. The customer service is unmatched. I will definitely be coming back!

What a beautiful meal! Eleanor, our server, was so kind. She even gave us a list of great Montreal recommendations. The food couldn't have been lovelier. I had a roulé à la cannelle & I'll be thinking about it until the next time I visit Montreal.

Obsessed with this little cafe. Not only is it beautifully configured with an awesome variety of seating options, it also has an incredible array of treats catering to a spectrum of allergies. I have a gluten & dairy allergy & was able to satiate my sweet tooth with zero issue 😉

Had a perfect allongé, brownie, sun-dried tomato focaccia, roulé à la canelle (I actually had two 🤫), & a petite baguette. Can't wait to go back & try more!
