?I've now visited this restaurant twice specifically for their gluten-free options, & the food itself has been very good. They offer an excellent experience for anyone with celiac disease.

?However, a few small improvements could really elevate the overall dining experience:

1. ?Cutlery Placement: For the outside tables, the pre-placed cutlery (forks, spoons) is prone to collecting dust & debris from the environment. I recommend providing clean cutlery with the order itself, as this would be much more hygienic.

?Outdoor Table Cleanliness: The outdoor tables themselves often feel dusty. I had to request extra napkins to clean the table before eating. More frequent wiping of these surfaces would be appreciated.

2. ?Pizza Dough: I tried the Margarita pizza, & while the flavor was decent, the crust was too hard & thin for the price point, making it difficult to chew at times. A slightly softer, thicker base would significantly improve this dish.

3. ?Handwashing: It would be helpful to have a clear place or facility for guests to wash their hands before eating. I didn't asked for the same as I thought they didn't have one, so I won't take points off for that.

Overall a great experience for Celiacs or someone with allergies. Very friendly staff.

Wow wow wow & re-wow ! Beaucoup d'options sans lactose. Les Focaccias, incroyables. À la fois aérées, humides, extérieur croustillant, avec un filet d'huile d'olive. La brioche à la cannelle (SG & SL), la meilleure que j'ai mangée. La pizza Panella avec le fauxmage de cashew.... j'ai peine à croire que je me suis privée de pizza si longtemps. Un délice ! Je recommande x1000.

Nous sommes venus à ce restaurant le samedi 9 août. Accueille chaleureuse. Large choix de produits dont des desserts & du pain. Nous avons pris un sandwich à la viande goûtu & très bon. La quiche était délicieuse, la pâte était vraiment bonne. Quant à la pizza, pour une sans gluten, elle se tenait bien. Je recommande.

Ben & Naomi have put together easily one of the best cafes I've ever been to. I only visited twice while in Montreal, but I left feeling like I was a regular. The bread is amazing, the pastries are divine, & the classic Italian-style espresso is some of the best I've had outside of Europe. Whether or not you have Celiac, gluten sensitivity, any other allergies or none at all, I cannot recommend this little fallen piece of Elysium enough.

**A Must-Visit for Gluten-Free Dining in Montreal**

My family & I recently had the pleasure of dining at Cantine Panella, & it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. Traveling with my wife & daughter, who both have celiac disease, can often be challenging, but Cantine Panella made it effortless & enjoyable.

We took an Uber from our airport hotel to the restaurant, & I must say, we were not disappointed. The owner was incredibly welcoming & knowledgeable, especially since his son also has celiac disease. This personal connection made us feel at ease, knowing that our dietary needs were well understood & catered to, given 100% gluten free establishment.

The variety of meals available was impressive, & our entire family of six thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience, even those without celiac disease.

I highly recommend Cantine Panella to anyone visiting Montreal, especially those who have celiac disease. We will definitely be returning whenever we find ourselves in the city again.

La Cantine Panella est le paradis du sans gluten! La nourriture est délicieuse & les propriétaires sont chaleureux. Les prix sont très raisonnables & la formule du menu du jour est extraordinaire. En tant que coeliaque, il est possible de manger en toute quiétude. Bref, je recommande fortement! C'est toujours un réel bonheur de venir manger à la Cantine Panella! Je ne suis jamais déçue!

Highly recommend Cantine Panella! We needed a spot for a birthday celebration that could accommodate several allergy requests. Benjamin & Alessandra were so helpful in creating a menu for our special dinner, everything was fantastic! From the food to the personal, welcoming service, we can't say enough about our experience. A gluten free delight in Montreal ( including the treats we bought to take away!).

My friends & I came up from Halifax Nova Scotia & one of my friends is Celiac & wanted to try this place out. We tried it & loved it, I got the Lasagna Bolognese & it was so good, we went back today & was recognized as the "Nova Scotians". Next time I am in Montreal I will be returning to this restaurant. Highly recommend, the customer service is amazing the best I have ever had. 10/10 experience

Came here on the weekend around 5pm, it was somewhat busy. Got met with the best service & amazing food. I have to say, it is quite nice to have so many gluten free options. The pecan cake is absolutely to die for & the ham & cheese sandwich was the best I've ever had. Everything here is gluten free & this place is certified. Highly recommend for lunch!

AMAZING food & service! It is so nice to eat at an entirely gluten free restaurant & not have to worry about potential cross-contamination. I also love that they offer daily specials. I had the dinner chicken special, which was delicious. Their desserts/treats are also AMAZING. I highly highly recommend this place & highly recommend trying their specials.

Awesome food , great service , cool vibe.Everything is really great there . The people are nice & most importantly THE FOOD ROCKS! The pizza is delicious but the strawberry shortcake is THE BEST. Came with my family during a road trip-in fact, above is kiddo's review (& it's hard to please a picky kid!!) & were so happy to find a dedicated gluten free place to eat for our celiacs. Highly recommend.
