Wow. Just found this place today. Amazing food selection. Paradise for my celiac wife. Super friendly & helpful staff. Bread selection is fantastic- hard pressed to tell the difference with gluten bread. Loved the quiche, banana muffin & cinnamon bun. Will certainly be our new go to for all things gluten free.
Excellent food, very soft bread & delicious cakes. It's a great gluten-free option. Didn't even notice the difference!
Owner is very friendly. Staff are very kind.

It's the very good café & restaurant that's not looks like cafeteria anymore. All the staffs are very nice & amazing 👏. I love this place right away when I visited it the first time. There are many kinds & varieties food & bakery 😋 .

Best gluten-free place in Montreal! Service is impeccable, everyone is so friendly, we feel right at home. Food is absolutely delicious. You'll find so many traditional recipes that one would miss (since having to stop eating gluten), but made in such an unique way, with its own signature, that even for those who don't need to be gluten free, it's still an amazing gastronomic find!

Amazing spot, & if you have celiac disease, this is the place to eat. It is all 100% gluten free, fresh baked food. I havent ever been so happy & overwhelmed at once with choices! The owner & employees who helped us were so helpful. They said'Welcome home!' When we inquired about the food safety. A lovely place.

It was such a pleasure having so many great gluten free options. The cinnamon role was so good, I got another one to take away!

Super sweet people. Exceptional gluten free bread. like, UNBELIEVABLY good. I'm not celiac but i brought my friend who is & we were both super happy to share a straight up delicious breakfast one morning & they didn't have to worry about a single thing. It was so good i'm going to come here all the time.

?I've now visited this restaurant twice specifically for their gluten-free options, & the food itself has been very good. They offer an excellent experience for anyone with celiac disease.
?However, a few small improvements could really elevate the overall dining experience:
1. ?Cutlery Placement: For the outside tables, the pre-placed cutlery (forks, spoons) is prone to collecting dust & debris from the environment. I recommend providing clean cutlery with the order itself, as this would be much more hygienic.
?Outdoor Table Cleanliness: The outdoor tables themselves often feel dusty. I had to request extra napkins to clean the table before eating. More frequent wiping of these surfaces would be appreciated.
2. ?Pizza Dough: I tried the Margarita pizza, & while the flavor was decent, the crust was too hard & thin for the price point, making it difficult to chew at times. A slightly softer, thicker base would significantly improve this dish.
3. ?Handwashing: It would be helpful to have a clear place or facility for guests to wash their hands before eating. I didn't asked for the same as I thought they didn't have one, so I won't take points off for that.
Overall a great experience for Celiacs or someone with allergies. Very friendly staff.

Je vais à ce restaurant-boulangerie depuis l'ouverture & j'en raffole encore. Le menu entier est sans gluten & garanti sans contamination. Il est même certifié par la GFFP. Je rejoins les centaines d'avis positifs ici & sur « Find Me Gluten Free » en réitérant que la nourriture est délicieuse, de la meilleure qualité & toujours servi avec le sourire. Leur menu du jour a toujours un nouveau repas a offrir, assorti d'une entrée & d'un café. Ils ont également plusieurs options de pâtisseries & de repas fixes sur le menu, afin de pouvoir prendre & reprendre notre item favori. Que vous soyez coeliaque, intolérant ou tout simplement affamé cette cantine est un incontournable de la Petite Italie. L'ambiance est toujours au rendez-vous, donc venez profiter de cette chaleureuse pépite!
**A Must-Visit for Gluten-Free Dining in Montreal**
My family & I recently had the pleasure of dining at Cantine Panella, & it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. Traveling with my wife & daughter, who both have celiac disease, can often be challenging, but Cantine Panella made it effortless & enjoyable.
We took an Uber from our airport hotel to the restaurant, & I must say, we were not disappointed. The owner was incredibly welcoming & knowledgeable, especially since his son also has celiac disease. This personal connection made us feel at ease, knowing that our dietary needs were well understood & catered to, given 100% gluten free establishment.
The variety of meals available was impressive, & our entire family of six thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience, even those without celiac disease.
I highly recommend Cantine Panella to anyone visiting Montreal, especially those who have celiac disease. We will definitely be returning whenever we find ourselves in the city again.
