Cantine Panella is the best gluten-free bakery/sandwich shop we have ever been to! I would challenge anyone to find one that's better...they can't! This place has exceptional service, fantastic food, excellent coffee & desserts so good, they're better than regular desserts that are not gluten-free! We got their asado & butifarra sandwiches - one beef & one pork, & they were amazing. The bread was so good (you would never know it was gluten-free) & the meats were marinated so nicely. Highly recommend these if you're looking for a full meal, but BE SURE to save room for dessert!! For example, they have the best tiramisu I have ever tasted (& I've had 100s of tiramisus all over the world, gluten-free & not), & that's just one thing out of many. They bake all their bread fresh every day & you can get so many different types of wonderful gluten-free bread - be sure to come early before they start to sell out! They even have amazing coffee...we got an iced latte & it was so much better than expected. Nice, strong coffee! All in all, I would highly encourage anyone to come to Cantine Panella - I wouldn't really call it a "hidden gem", but more people still need to know about it!!
have never had any gluten-free pastries like this before. I literally had to check so many times to make sure everything is gluten-free. They make ❤️❤️THE BEST ❤️❤️ gluten-free products you can ever imagine. Imagine this: all the things you've wished to eat gluten-free, they have them at an affordable price. The consistency of their breads & pastries is phenomenal, & they taste so good. They are extremely knowledgeable about their products & are super friendly. What a gem! Even if you're not celiac & just want high-quality food/pastries, give this place a try🥖🥨🥐🥪
Eating here was such a wonderful experience. They have lovingly created THE best Gluten free bread, quiche, pie crusts & pastries I've ever had, the man who helped me, who I believe was the owner, was so warm, kind, welcoming & helpful in every way. I will drive from Ottawa again & again to come here, it's incredible. You two have mastered gluten free baking & cooking! Thank you so much for bringing joy to my day & delicious bread back into my life as someone who is Celiac. :)
We tried this restaurant yesterday after all the great reviews & I am so happy we did. We value restaurants where we can enjoy a delicious meal without concerns about cross-contamination. The food quality is exceptional, & the owner operators provided outstanding customer service. Nous avons découvert par hasard ce restaurant ! Quelle chance ! Tout est au top! L'ambiance est très chaleureuse, service - super. Très agréable de se sentir en sécurité au niveau gluten free. & le repas est tout simplement délicieux. Plein de goût, très bon produits, grand choix des pain dans la boulangerie. Nous avons mangé la formule du jour(excellent!), les enfants ont adoré les quiches & les chaussons salé. On en a même pris à emporter en plus. Vraiment un endroit qui vaut le détour 👍
Amazing little restaurant serving gluten free Peruvian inspired baked goods with a daily lunch & dinner special that is affordable & memorable. The staff are wonderful, very personable & creative. A must visit if you are in the area.
