Gros coup de coeur pour Cantine Panella ! En tant que coeliaque, c'est tellement agréable de pouvoir profiter d'un menu aussi bon & varié.
J'ai essayé le grilled cheese au poulet, le pain de la semaine, la focaccia aux tomates séchées (honnêtement la meilleure focaccia que j'ai mangée !), le muffin aux carottes & épices & le brownie : tout était incroyable.
Ma famille a goûté aux pizzas & ils n'avaient que de bons mots à dire. L'ambiance est chaleureuse & familiale, on se sent vraiment bien accueilli.
Dommage que je ne vive pas à Montréal, mais je reviendrai assurément lors de ma prochaine visite!
Must go. I was expecting just a small bakery, but there was so much more to choose from. Margherita pizza was simple but delicious & the apple turnover was fantastic.

?I've now visited this restaurant twice specifically for their gluten-free options, & the food itself has been very good. They offer an excellent experience for anyone with celiac disease.
?However, a few small improvements could really elevate the overall dining experience:
1. ?Cutlery Placement: For the outside tables, the pre-placed cutlery (forks, spoons) is prone to collecting dust & debris from the environment. I recommend providing clean cutlery with the order itself, as this would be much more hygienic.
?Outdoor Table Cleanliness: The outdoor tables themselves often feel dusty. I had to request extra napkins to clean the table before eating. More frequent wiping of these surfaces would be appreciated.
2. ?Pizza Dough: I tried the Margarita pizza, & while the flavor was decent, the crust was too hard & thin for the price point, making it difficult to chew at times. A slightly softer, thicker base would significantly improve this dish.
3. ?Handwashing: It would be helpful to have a clear place or facility for guests to wash their hands before eating. I didn't asked for the same as I thought they didn't have one, so I won't take points off for that.
Overall a great experience for Celiacs or someone with allergies. Very friendly staff.
Wow wow wow & re-wow ! Beaucoup d'options sans lactose. Les Focaccias, incroyables. À la fois aérées, humides, extérieur croustillant, avec un filet d'huile d'olive. La brioche à la cannelle (SG & SL), la meilleure que j'ai mangée. La pizza Panella avec le fauxmage de cashew.... j'ai peine à croire que je me suis privée de pizza si longtemps. Un délice ! Je recommande x1000.
La pizza est délicieuse, option de pain sans gluten & vegan wow! Mais que dire du service, ils étaient tous tellement sympathiques, j'y retourne c'est sûr !
Meilleure pizza sans gluten que j'ai mangé depuis que j'ai été diagnostiquée celiac. La fille à la caisse sait ce qu'est la maladie coeliaque & prend le temps d'expliquer le menu ce qui est très gentil & rassurant. C'était la première fois que j'y allais, mais certainement pas la dernière!
Nous sommes venus à ce restaurant le samedi 9 août. Accueille chaleureuse. Large choix de produits dont des desserts & du pain. Nous avons pris un sandwich à la viande goûtu & très bon. La quiche était délicieuse, la pâte était vraiment bonne. Quant à la pizza, pour une sans gluten, elle se tenait bien. Je recommande.

Checked out Cantine Panella Sans Gluten, a 100% gluten free cafe, for a weekday lunch. Go up to the counter to order, food's brought to your table. There's a menu du jour/soir ($19/22) but only from Wednesday to Saturday. - Latte ($4.50) - piping hot - Zamalek infusion d'hibiscus ($13.00 bottle) - very light, tasted like hibiscus juice - Muffin banane ($4.00) - Biscuit avoines & chocolat ($3.00) - Soupe du jour ($9.00) - carrot squash soup with grilled bread. Smooth texture - Lasagna bolognese ($15.00) - looks small but a decent portion. Tasted like regular lasagna - Lasagne aux aubergines ($14.00) - Primavera pizza ($18.00) - added vegan cheese ($2.00). Pizza was tiny, thin crust style - Asado sandwich ($15.00) - messy but tasty. Sandwich is more like a mini baguette - Pascualina quiche ($8.50) - Tarte a la lime ($8.00) - excellent - Jalousie aux peches ($5.50) - peach danish - Foret noire ($10.00) - not too sweet
C'est le paradis du sans gluten. Non seulement cela mais les gens sont si gentils, un gros A+ de tous les cotés!! J'ai pris une soupe à l'onion (ma 1ere depuis des années!), du pain pizza, tourtière, lasagne, tout excellent
Absolute gem!!! Adore this place, my partner & I have had dinner here twice now; the daily specials have been incredible for both price & taste, & the pizza literally could not be better. Thank you so much for the ambience & great food
Pizza extremely good !!! Sandwich best than regular no gluten, tiramisu amazing & coffee another level ♥️ 100% recomend 🙌🏼 very nice persons they gave me to taste all breads, price very reasonable, 10/10 place 🥰

Great dedicated gluten free café, opens until 8-9pm!! Amazing meal of the day everyday, take out, pizza, sandwiches & more! Love it! We'll be back for sure!
Awesome food , great service , cool vibe.Everything is really great there . The people are nice & most importantly THE FOOD ROCKS! The pizza is delicious but the strawberry shortcake is THE BEST. Came with my family during a road trip-in fact, above is kiddo's review (& it's hard to please a picky kid!!) & were so happy to find a dedicated gluten free place to eat for our celiacs. Highly recommend.
This place was amazing! The service was terrific-so congenial, warm, welcoming-& really elevated the whole experience. The pizza & sandwiches were so good, & the breads looked amazing. We'll have to return as soon as possible.
We had the most incredible dinner at Cantine Panella, a cozy Italian restaurant that was delicious & inviting. The entire restaurant is GF so you can relax & enjoy a wonderful meal. Lovely environment with large windows that fully open to the street so it feels like you are eating el fresco. Family style restaurant with a welcoming staff & a warm friendly owner. We had such an incredible night, from the food to the atmosphere & people. Loved it!! We ordered pizzas & lasagna & tiramisu for dessert! Everything was delicious & we are already planning our next trip to Montreal so we can revisit this wonderful restaurant!!! Thank you for an incredible night!

New found gem near home! Cantine Panella is a recent find for us that we can only wish we discovered sooner. It's a blessing for anyone with gluten intolerance; they are certified. Hubby has always had a hard time finding a safe place to eat out & now the fresh, delicious pizza has become our Friday staple! Incredibly friendly owners & staff, with great food options for everyone!
Très bon repas passé en famille chez Cantine Panella! Endroit lumineux & agréable, accueil chaleureux, repas très bons (pizza, lasagnes & plats du jour). Même le café était savoureux :) & tout ça sans gluten...le paradis !
