The staff here is so friendly!!! & all the food is celiac friendly, & tastes amazing!! Don't even get me started on the asado sandwich…. I didnt even have time to take a pic of it 🤤

Nous sommes venus à ce restaurant le samedi 9 août. Accueille chaleureuse. Large choix de produits dont des desserts & du pain. Nous avons pris un sandwich à la viande goûtu & très bon. La quiche était délicieuse, la pâte était vraiment bonne. Quant à la pizza, pour une sans gluten, elle se tenait bien. Je recommande.
The food, atmosphere & service & Cantine Panella is fantastic. I am both vegan & gluten intolerant, & was so excited to find a place so kind & accommodating - everything was delicious! They took such pride in their food, & honestly, that was the best sandwich I've ever had, as was everything else we ordered. I wish we lived in Montreal so we could dine here regularly. Next time we visit, it will be our first stop. Also, if you are celiac, they have a special accreditation for celiacs which is really hard to get!
I could cry it was so good. I had the asago sandwich & cinnamon bun. My fiancé had the lasagna & cupcake. We took lots of bread home too. Everything was so good I felt normal for 15 minutes, not like the gluten free cardboard other places serve.
Checked out Cantine Panella Sans Gluten, a 100% gluten free cafe, for a weekday lunch. Go up to the counter to order, food's brought to your table. There's a menu du jour/soir ($19/22) but only from Wednesday to Saturday. - Latte ($4.50) - piping hot - Zamalek infusion d'hibiscus ($13.00 bottle) - very light, tasted like hibiscus juice - Muffin banane ($4.00) - Biscuit avoines & chocolat ($3.00) - Soupe du jour ($9.00) - carrot squash soup with grilled bread. Smooth texture - Lasagna bolognese ($15.00) - looks small but a decent portion. Tasted like regular lasagna - Lasagne aux aubergines ($14.00) - Primavera pizza ($18.00) - added vegan cheese ($2.00). Pizza was tiny, thin crust style - Asado sandwich ($15.00) - messy but tasty. Sandwich is more like a mini baguette - Pascualina quiche ($8.50) - Tarte a la lime ($8.00) - excellent - Jalousie aux peches ($5.50) - peach danish - Foret noire ($10.00) - not too sweet

Absolutely one of the best places I have ever sat down & had food since my celiac diagnosis. The owner & workers are professional, fun & outstanding personalities. The selection is immaculate & classy. You must go here if you are in Montreal travelling or newly moved in! You won't be dissapointed. I ordered two sandwiches, 2 salads, a pastry & a bottle of wine & plan to return another day before I return home! A place that truly leaves an impression on you.
Came here on the weekend around 5pm, it was somewhat busy. Got met with the best service & amazing food. I have to say, it is quite nice to have so many gluten free options. The pecan cake is absolutely to die for & the ham & cheese sandwich was the best I've ever had. Everything here is gluten free & this place is certified. Highly recommend for lunch!
Pizza extremely good !!! Sandwich best than regular no gluten, tiramisu amazing & coffee another level ♥️ 100% recomend 🙌🏼 very nice persons they gave me to taste all breads, price very reasonable, 10/10 place 🥰
Great dedicated gluten free café, opens until 8-9pm!! Amazing meal of the day everyday, take out, pizza, sandwiches & more! Love it! We'll be back for sure!

This place was amazing! The service was terrific-so congenial, warm, welcoming-& really elevated the whole experience. The pizza & sandwiches were so good, & the breads looked amazing. We'll have to return as soon as possible.
Cantine Panella is the best gluten-free bakery/sandwich shop we have ever been to! I would challenge anyone to find one that's better...they can't! This place has exceptional service, fantastic food, excellent coffee & desserts so good, they're better than regular desserts that are not gluten-free! We got their asado & butifarra sandwiches - one beef & one pork, & they were amazing. The bread was so good (you would never know it was gluten-free) & the meats were marinated so nicely. Highly recommend these if you're looking for a full meal, but BE SURE to save room for dessert!! For example, they have the best tiramisu I have ever tasted (& I've had 100s of tiramisus all over the world, gluten-free & not), & that's just one thing out of many. They bake all their bread fresh every day & you can get so many different types of wonderful gluten-free bread - be sure to come early before they start to sell out! They even have amazing coffee...we got an iced latte & it was so much better than expected. Nice, strong coffee! All in all, I would highly encourage anyone to come to Cantine Panella - I wouldn't really call it a "hidden gem", but more people still need to know about it!!
Nous avons été accueillies dès notre arrivée de manière chaleureuse. Le service est amical, professionnel & rapide. La nourriture était très bonne. J'ai pris un sandwich aux légumes grillés que j'ai aimé. Le pain était très croustillant. Mon amie a pris le burger qu'elle a aussi aimé. Les desserts étaient aussi très bons. C'est toujours le fun de trouver des endroits avec des bons menus sans gluten pour mon amie qui ne peut pas en manger. Je recommande :)

Amazing staff, service & food! Enjoyed the lunch menu & some of their sandwiches which were also dairy-free! Loved having a bottle of wine to share over a light lunch! The owner was super helpful in helping us find the right wine too!
La nourriture est très délicieuse & le service est excellent. Complètement sans gluten à Montréal, les trouver était un cadeau. Tenu par ses propriétaires super sympas. Les pains sont fabriqués à partir de céréales importées directement du Pérou & je doute que vous trouviez ailleurs un sandwich avec d'aussi bonnes céréales.
Based on the reviews of others, decided to stop in & am I ever glad we did! The bread is amazingly soft & flavourful. I also enjoyed the quiche. Can't wait to go back & enjoy a fresh sandwich on site!
