Food. Fresh ingredients & freshly made upon ordering. Taste good to get good. Portions are very good.
Service. Only one server that evening, however the individual was exceptionally kind, well spoken, welcoming, knowledgeable, & for the most part - pretty good. But I would say it's dining not fast food timing.
Atmosphere. This is a little tough, on one side it comes across as cosy & like eating in the home of the owner. On the other side, it comes across as dated, old, & in need of renovation.
As a seasoned Persian foodie, I have been looking forward to eating here for some time as I heard it was pretty good. & in short, yes the food was good as were portions & price & would come back. But here is why.
We ordered the jojeeh kebab & Baghalipolo Mahiche & as a started we had the Mizra Ghasemi. Both meals came with a fantastic soup & on the plate, a side of salad with house dressing.
So, for me the eggplant appetizer is what is a strong indicator of how good a Persian restaurants food is. This place is tied for first place in Montreal. The perfect smokiness, texture, & seasoning along with freshly heated pita triangles were to die for. The portion was significant, though may seem more expensive than others, the portion is so large that it ends up cheaper than others.
The soup/osh, was one I have never had before & was totally blown away with its flavours, texture, appearance, aroma & taste of course.
The mains. The chicken kebob size was large, but the white mean cubes were smaller than usual & as such, didn't have as good a texture. The seasoning was a little salty & not distinct enough. The individual portion of tradition basmati rice with saffron which included a pita'tah-deek' was exceptional. Fragrant, not oily or greasy, light & fluffy & tasting fantastic & the tag-deek was also delicious. Many places try to do this but fail by ending up with greasy & hard rice & poor tasting tag-deek, but they nailed it here.
The Lamy shank with the dill & fava bean rice was also lovely. The rice was a little less fluffy & bordering on a little too greasy - but tasty. The lamb was a good portion & there was marrow in the bone (a welcome bonus), & the portion was good for the price.
The sweet tooth though was unique & delicious. We had the Sholezard (rice pudding) - yummy. & we had the Faloodeh; rice noodles with rose water, lime, & cherry syrup. This was a mind blower. Super fresh, perks your taste bud up & wakes you up as well with a refreshing & delicious finish. This was the star for me.
All in all, lovely expertise & would come back - I would even come back for the eggplant & pita with a soup for lunch it was soooo good.
It's like stepping into Iran! The food is absolutely delicious, full of authentic Persian flavors, & the service is warm & welcoming. If you're looking for a genuine Persian dining experience, I highly recommend NAB Persian Restaurant.

Amazing Persian food with authentic flavors, generous portions, & excellent service. Everything was fresh & delicious. Highly recommended for anyone who wants a true taste of Persian cuisine!
The food was decent overall, but nothing really stood out. We visited as a group of six, so we had the chance to try a variety of dishes.
The Kobideh Kebab was good, though I've definitely had better at a similar price point. The lamb, Chenjeh, & Torsh Kebab were all ok & well-cooked. A nice surprise was the complimentary soup, which was a thoughtful touch.
The service was on the slower side, but our server was incredibly kind, friendly, & welcoming, which made up for the wait.
The restaurant also had a warm, authentic Persian atmosphere that added to the experience. Overall, it's a pleasant spot for Persian food & good vibes, even if the food itself didn't quite wow us.
Visiting this place for 2nd time , the food is far beyond what you experienced & tasted in your life . You would want to try this place if you really looking for high quality Persian cuisine. My both visits were for dinner time & I didn't really have any issue finding the parking spot.
Outstanding & authentic. We loved the Persian rice, & all of the dishes which were well prepared. They brought excellent lentil soup before our dinner. There was music as well. It seemed that most customers were Iranian.
