Nab is a warm, family-run Persian restaurant that immediately makes you feel welcome. You can tell there's real care behind the food here. The father of the family personally prepares the kebabs, & the whole team is incredibly kind, patient, & genuinely friendly with customers. Their hospitality feels sincere, not forced, which makes the experience even more enjoyable.
The Iranian rice is outstanding & easily the highlight of the meal. Perfectly cooked, fragrant, & flavorful, with an absolutely delicious crunchy tahdig. The aroma & taste of the rice alone are reason enough to come back - it's truly the restaurant's biggest strength.
The kebabs were good overall. The barg kebab had nice flavor but was slightly on the tough side, while the rest of the food was satisfying & well prepared. To finish, the sholeh zard was excellent - rich in flavor, beautifully balanced, & clearly homemade.
Overall, Nab is a lovely spot for authentic Persian food, especially if you appreciate high-quality Iranian rice, comforting flavors, & heartfelt service. A family business that puts soul into what they serve, & it shows.
My family, two friends, & I visited this restaurant to try kaleh pacheh. From the very first bite, I was truly impressed. It was cooked with such skill & care that I had never experienced this level of quality before-not in my home country & not even in Montreal. Some might think this was just because we were hungry, but that wasn't the case; my family & friends all felt the same way. I highly recommend giving it a try at least once. I'm confident you'll fall in love with this delicious dish.

I thoroughly enjoyed my meal. I ordered the vegan kebab plate & it was delicious & substantial. My friend ordered the koobideh with an extra skewer of lamb which he devoured & enjoyed very much. The main plates come with soup, salad, grilled tomatoes & rice along with toasted bread. I got an extra side of roasted vegetables with my dish. Very chill & relaxed atmosphere. This restaurant's menu is extensive for various diets. I love this as I was able to eat there as a vegan with no issues & left content rather than hungry. The restaurant & washrooms are clean & the art & decor were beautiful. I couldn't stop lookiing at one painting. Our waiter was lovely & made us feel welcomed. This is a great spot for a date, a night out with family or friends. There were even a few kids that we didn't even notice until we paid. They were so well behaved they could put some adults to shame!
We have visited this restaurant several times, both with guests & with family. Every time, the experience has been excellent .The food is always fresh & delicious, & the service is warm & attentive. We are always satisfied & highly recommend this place.

They have a great variety of dishes, from delicious breakfasts to hearty lunches & comforting dinners. The atmosphere is warm & inviting, perfect for relaxing with friends or enjoying a quiet meal. The staff is welcoming, attentive, & makes you feel like family. Quality food, generous portions, & great service - definitely worth visiting again & again!

After a day of walking around downtown & not agreeing on what to eat I was starving & had a headache. This place was next to where I had gotten a massage earlier in the day & said to my son, that's it we're eating here & we're so glad we did! First time having Persian for me but my son has had it with his friends & said this is the best he's had.
We all ordered the Koobideh (beef skewers) that were tender & juicy. & that little triangle bread cooked into the rice was like a drug it was so good. Portion was more than enough.
We also had the eggplant appetizer with the fried onions. It came with a pillowy bread. We devoured it. & finished off with the saffron ice cream which was part creamy but more icy. Very rose scented. I never had it before but definitely interesting.
We enjoyed the decor, the family run business with mom & dad cooking & the son tending to us. He was so nice & helpful. Too bad we live 6 hours away!
If you're in Montreal & craving authentic Persian food, this gem is an absolute must-visit. The combination of mouthwatering dishes & sweet, attentive service makes it a standout in a city full of great options. Highly recommend! It's rare to find a restaurant where both the quality of food & the kindness of the people are equally exceptionaI. We had family dinner & went back the next day for breakfast.

What a great experience. I brought my family here for the first time & they all enjoyed it very much. The food was excellent. The servers were friendly. It felt like a family reunion. My daughter who's 3 years old was dancing to the music & had a blast. Thank you for making us have such a memorable Persian new year.

We had an amazing evening at Café Persan Nab! Everything exceeded our expectations. The food, service, & atmosphere were all exceptional; & the prices were very reasonable. Atbin & his family warmly welcomed us, while also allowing us full privacy to enjoy our meal leisurely over several hours. The platform seating option with rugs & cushions was so cozy! We can't wait to return to this hidden gem. Highly recommend!
I was visiting Montreal for the first time I was looking for some good food to have with my cousins. I found this restaurant & It did not disappoint. very friendly family owned restaurant & they are pretty much open, but I don't know why the app says temporarily closed. It might be a mistake. I will definitely be back & recommend people.
