Have been living in Griffintown for a few years & had somehow never heard of Redwood until yesterday, when a friend told me they make one of the best iced lattes in this area. She was not lying!
Went in this morning to try their dulce de leche iced latte & WOW, it's the first time I've had a flavored coffee that wasn't overly sweet & was actually delicious. I also grabbed a regular cappuccino for my partner (who is very picky about coffee), & he said it was great too.
Definitely order something from their baked goods as well. I tried the blueberry muffin & it was delicious.
The staff were so friendly & kind. I'll definitely be back & highly recommend!
Lovely cafe, good variety on methods, coffee types, lots of specialty coffee beans available for purchase. I wish they had more savory options, I had the avocado toast with bacon, latte & a pour over. Everything was tasty, fresh & nicely done. Service was great as well, definitely would recommend to specialty coffee lovers!
Honestly, I don't leave reviews often, but I have to say Café Redwood exceeded my expectations! The rose water matcha was perfectly balanced & just the right amount of sweet, & the wasabi BLT was fantastic. They were even kind enough to give us cookies since it was busy & we had to wait just a little longer. All in all, a great experience, 10/10 would recommend! 🙂???

The food is so good, they have tons of super filling, delicious sandwiches & their foccacia bread is 100% homemade!! Daily made pastries that always seem to sell out, very good coffee, very good chai, awesome location & great staff!

Wonderful cafe, excellent service, delicious sweet treats & coffee! I had THE BEST Vanilla Cream Puff of my life! You could taste right away the high quality vanilla that was used in the cream.. Bravo to the pastry chef who made them! I highly recommend this cafe!
Beau p'tit café du quartier, ambiance très chaleureuse & personnel gentil. À proximité du canal & du marcher Atwater , près du métro. Menu original & bon. J'y vais souvent. Fortement recommandé.

($$) Sur un coup de tête comme ça, je ne regrette vraiment pas. 🤩J'y retournerai la prochaine fois que je serai dans le coin. C'était très bon. La boisson matcha à la mangue était goûteuse, mais le goût de la mangue prend le dessus sur celui du matcha. Le mocha froid à base de lait de pistache était incroyable, je recommande. La pâtisserie avec la vanille à l'intérieur... wow, j'en veux encore ! Le service était bof. Bien sûr, nous comprenions qu'ils avaient d'autres priorités que nous sur le moment, mais il est essentiel de dire bonjour ou même donner du regard lorsque des clients se présentent & attendent à la caisse. C'est un signe de politesse & considération. Attendre n'est jamais un problème, le problème est de ne pas savoir si l'on a été remarqué.

Je m'y suis arrêté par hasard parce que j'étais en avance pour la réservation au Shushuto juste à côté & wow. Petit endroit super sympa, sans prétention. Y'a des amis qui viennent se donner des nouvelles, des jeunes adultes qui travaillent sur leur portable. Le staff est hyper patient & sympa. J'ai pris un latté glacé aux épices & il était excellent. C'est la première fois que j'ai autant de choix de boissons froides dans un café, j'aurai volontier choisi un menu dégustation si ça avait été possible! Le blanc & le bois clair c'est toujours une combinaison gagnante pour inspirer, détendre & mettre les gens à l'aise. La musique est juste ce qu'il faut mélancholique. Lpailles sont en agave ce qui est super aussi. Je recommande vivement !
