Lovely cafe, good variety on methods, coffee types, lots of specialty coffee beans available for purchase. I wish they had more savory options, I had the avocado toast with bacon, latte & a pour over. Everything was tasty, fresh & nicely done. Service was great as well, definitely would recommend to specialty coffee lovers!
Honestly, I don't leave reviews often, but I have to say Café Redwood exceeded my expectations! The rose water matcha was perfectly balanced & just the right amount of sweet, & the wasabi BLT was fantastic. They were even kind enough to give us cookies since it was busy & we had to wait just a little longer. All in all, a great experience, 10/10 would recommend! 🙂???
Redwood has been one of my go-to cafés in recent years due to their central Sud Ouest location on Saint Patrick street. Over the past year though, their fresh prepared breakfast & lunch menu has expanded impressively to the point where their sandwiches are some of the freshest in the area. Odessa & Brandon run a tight ship at Redwood & the general vibe & satisfaction of their customers is self-evident. Go check them out if you haven't yet!

Cafe redwood is one of my favorite cafe in Montreal. The Dulce de leche latte is definitely one of my favorites in the city. They also have pretty tasty pastries as well.
Deja super service & de très bons conseils quand on est indécis, les brioches sont excellentes, les différents matcha sont super bons. Seul bémol c est les groupes de coureurs à pieds qui arrivent par vingtaine dans aucun respect pour les clients déjà présents. En quelques instants on n est plus dans un café mais dans un vestiaire avec des gens qui parlent forts & qui sentent la transpiration. Le civisme a définitivement quitté notre société c est regrettable.

Un beau petit comptoir de viennoiserie, toute faites maison.
Un espace intérieur pour travailler ou juste chiller tranquille , quelques tables extérieures.

En passage à Montréal, ce joli café nous a charmé. Du café infusé à froid, en passant par leur scone au parmesan & oignons verts & terminant avec le BLT Wasabi…tout était délicieux! Bravo à vous! 😀

The food is so good, they have tons of super filling, delicious sandwiches & their foccacia bread is 100% homemade!! Daily made pastries that always seem to sell out, very good coffee, very good chai, awesome location & great staff!

Première expérience correcte mais mon cappuccino laissait transparaître un goût de café sur-extrait moins agréable. Sinon Le Lait Henrietta utilisé pour le café est d'excellente qualité & le service est rapide & sympathique.

Le café est excellent, le cadre est visiblement agréable & lumineux. La localisation près du canal devrait en faire un lieu de choix & de prédilection. Cela dit, en prenant le temps de lire les commentaires, le principal grief porte sur l'accueil & le service. En fait, un certain schéma semble se répéter. Je regrette de devoir dire que j'abonde dans ce sens. À l'arrivée, l'accueil est loin d'être chaleureux, les employés semblent plutôt blasés. En l'occurrence, j'ai eu l'impression de déranger, alors que c'était loin d'être une heure d'affluence. Mon expérience n'est apparemment pas un cas isolé. Le service est glacial, le sourire est absolument en option dans ce café. Les tarifs sont également prohibitifs, plutôt rédhibitoires. Bref, je dirais ceci : « amateur d'un bon café abordable dans un lieu chaleureux, passe ton chemin !».
Meilleur spot ever! Rien de mieux qu'aller boire un matcha & étudier à ce café. La musique est bonne, le service est excellent, c'est propre. Nous adorons.
This is such a cute spot! I found this café while looking for coffeeshops to go study in, & I fell in love with the vibe! The interior is beautiful & clean, the staff is super friendly. I tried the Mocha Noir & the Dulce de Leche Latte, both were excellent. Very tasty & not too sweet. I was working & kept inhale such a great smell while someone was cooking in their kitchen so I went ahead & asked the barista what they were making & they told me it's Choux A la Creme so I ordered a fresh one & it was out of this world. Happiness in a little dessert! I'm definitely coming back here.
I like this café, & have been there a few times. Greatly located, & good coffee. I also like that a few tables are reserved for people without a laptop. I like the minimalist design & music. It creates a great ambiance.
Most staff is very friendly, however the owner (i think) is not. Just cold, no smile or greetings.
Also the bathroom door is full of finger smudges, a good & regular clean up is definitely due.
cozy & aesthetically pleasing, great sandwiches, coffee, & unique beverage options. For such a memorable café in Montréal, the staff were quite cold - a warm welcome would've made the experience all the better.
