Review Summary

Overall, reviews of Café Olimpico celebrate the coffee as rich, balanced, and memorable, with favorites like the crema and the remix, and pastries such as tiramisu and cannoli earning praise. The atmosphere is described as lively, welcoming, and distinctly Italian, with a cozy interior and a buzzing terrace especially in good weather. The cafe is often crowded and seating is limited, leading to long lines, but staff are noted as friendly and fast, keeping service moving. Some comments mention that prices can be a bit high, but many feel the experience is worth a visit and consider it a Montréal institution. Overall, Café Olimpico is viewed as a must visit for coffee lovers, with strong community vibes and consistently excellent coffee across locations.

I went there on a sunny Sunday afternoon with my sisters. The whole vibe is really loud & chill 😎. The waiting line was super long, it started right when we entered the room, we made a u turn & then went to the counter. Since it was 4 of us, we ordered a bunch of desserts to share. Unfortunately, the cashier got one of our orders wrong, & it was too busy & packed. Then, we were not able to get back to him to correct it. As for the cafe, the latte was pretty standard, good but not fantastic, the cappuccino with sugar was pretty though. We shared two tiramisu, it was rich & tasty overall, a bit too sweet to my taste. The fried Italian doughnut looking dessert ( forgot the name) was decadent , filled with ricotta, not too sweet, & I like it better. If you want to check them out, remember to go there on weekdays!

We went with friends to have coffee & dessert. It's amazing. It was crowded because it's very popular & because of Halloween. It's hard to find a place to seat inside.

Your staff always does an amazing job, with the long lines/rushes. They are efficient & very respectful. Your staff really represents the real values & service of what a true Italian coffee shop is, along with the place itself. The coffee is amazing & the desserts too. If you haven’t tried this place run don’t walk, you will absolutely not regret it. When a client spends money, he should receive a minimum, & over here they just go above that. Shoutout to you guys for real. As an Italian, this is my #1 spot in the city.
