The best in Montreal!! We ordered the Affogato & the Triple Mix, & both were delicious. The coffee was rich & flavorful, & the desserts were fresh & well made.
The atmosphere was cozy, & the staff were friendly & welcoming. The wait was approx 90 minutes.
You don't stay in business for more than 50 years & establish several locations & have lineups of customers if you weren't great, & this basically Café Olimpico in a nutshell.

This was my first visit to Café Olimpico, & if I lived in Montréal, I would've been a regular. You must try this café, you'll be impressed like I was.
to be honest, i've been to the cafe about 5 times, never had an issue. i went on sunday june 15 at around 11;15 pm, many people were sitted to watch the fifa game. I asked for a coffee & a dessert. the person serving me asked me if it would be for here or to go & his colleague jumped in & said''just take out''. should i be offended by that comment?
Café Olimpico on Rue Saint Viateur in Mile End is one of the most unique coffee spots in Montréal with such a strong authentic Italian vibe & energy. Brought out of town guests to try what many consider the city's best & it absolutely did not disappoint. The affogato, côrtado, cappuccino, lemon sorbet granita & tiramisu were all outstanding. Every single thing we ordered was delicious.
The place was packed & we were lucky to grab seats indoors, which only added to the lively atmosphere. TVs were playing the Grand Prix & the whole café was buzzing. The staff serving us were super friendly & welcoming the entire time. Easily one of the best spots in the city for coffee, desserts & people watching. ☕🇮🇹🍋🍨🏁✨

The real star for me though: the gelato. Pistachio & hazelnut are to die for! Insanely creamy, full of flavor, & not overly sweet. You can actually taste the quality ingredients.
