Our visit to Chat L'heureux was a very nice experience. It was fun to see the cats roaming around the café. I didn't mind it but most cats were sleepy (we came at around noon).
The'cat gentlemen' grilled cheese was good. The'cat lady' grilled cheese, which is supposed to have fig jam & honey, didn't taste sweet at all. I wouldn't recommend the drinks as well (we had an iced coffee & a smoothie, both weren't good).
Overall, I would come back to hang around the nice cats & probably try one of their desserts. Customer service was good.View more

Quelle belle visite. L'excellent service était #1. Les serveuses sont très polies & de bonne humeur. C'est aussi très bien géré puisqu'il y a des fois une ligne d'attente pour entrer. Nous recommandons fortement le cat gentleman, c'est le meilleur grilled cheese que j'ai mangé de ma vie! Les chats sont très mignon & calme, affectueux. Cependant, il y avait une odeur de litière difficile dans la toilette des femmes mais c'est tout ce que j'aurais de négatif à mentionner. Nous y reviendrons certainement 🥰View more

Ambiance chat-l'heureuse pour vrai. Les chats sont actifs & sociable. Accessible à pied à partie d'un métro. Par contre, on ne vas pas la pour recevoir un service rapide. 55 minutes pour un chili végé & 3 grilled chesse. C'était très bon! I went there recently & had such a wonderful experience! I ordered a grilled cheese sandwich along with a lemonade! The grilled cheese was so cheesy & the salad going with it was fruity & chewy! Lemonade cup was so cute & staff gave me a to-go cup. About the staff, they were so nice & caring! The cats were so cute & friendly! Nous avons beaucoup aimé notre visite à ce café. Quelques règles d'hygiène doivent être suivies avant d'entrer, comme le lavage de main. Le service était un peu lent & nous avons attendu au moins 30 min à l'extérieur, mais ça en a valu la peine. Nous avons pu flatter plusieurs adorables chats & chatons. Learning more towards 4.25/4.5 as a rating as opposed to a whole 5 star for a few reasons, mostly related to the bathroom ventilation & smell. I have come to the cat ccaf multiple times over the years, the grilled cheese are all delicious & the desserts too. The coffee isn't amazing or the best I've ever had but it's still tasty, the staff is very polite & kind which is very appreciated. During the rush hours (noon to two pm) there are a lot of kids so the café is very loud & the service is slower but it's still tolerable, the cats don't really come out as often or move around at that time for obvious reasons but they are the most active in my experience from 4 to 6pm (& it's also much less noisy). The cat café is lovely & I'll continue to be a semi-regular visitor. The price includes a cat care fee.View more

i've been there twice in the past year & had a great experience each time! the cats are very adorable & the overall atmosphere of the place is very cozy & comfy. the food (i had the grilled cheese) takes a little while to arrive (or maybe it's because i was STARVING during my visits) but it's well made & tastes very yummy! would 100% recommend for a little date with a friend on a warm sunny day if you both like cats & are looking for a quiet spot to hang out at.View more

food was utterly delicious! ordered a grilled cheese & it was one of the best ones i've ever had! it was crunchy & the cheese inside was just exquisite! the cheese cake was also so sweet & delicious! The cats are definitely the stars of the cafe! They are soooo cute & friendly! My daughter was so thrilled to pet Luna & Luciole! There was a line already when we got there around 3pm, but it was worth it. The ambience is very cozy, & family friendly. A great place for tweens who'd like to be around pets more. There is a warm, welcoming vibe here. It's a slow paced relaxed place. The owner can do some tricks with the cats. He welcomed us with one on his shoulder. The cats are pretty & fun to watch. I love the cat teapots & cookie jars on display. I like how the menu is short & simple. We love the banana pudding, its outstanding, & the grilled sandwiches taste good. The cheesecake looked excellent, but haven't tried it yet.View more

Long wait in a waiting room with only three places to sit. It was about 1 p.m. midweek Mid August & crowded. I thought it was way too noisy for the cats to be comfortable.
6 or 7 cats total per the pictures on the wall, most hiding or on perches out of reach. Kids chased them nonstop & they were constantly either going under furniture or up on a perch to get away. It stressed ME out just to watch. It actually made me not want to pet the cats because I could see how stressed they were. The owner says she doesn't know how to stop it, but I never saw anyone even try say anything to the families about controlling their children. They would rather the cats be molested then to possibly offend a paying customer. The owner replies that she's very concerned about her cats, but I saw no indication of that. You can think it, but if you don't actually put anything into action, you are condoning the activities.
One 12/13 yr old pursued them for the entire 45 minutes I was dining. Whether the cats were on high platforms or running under the furniture, he was always behind them trying to pet them as they tried desperately to get away. It didn't seem to matter what the cats wanted, that boy was relentless. (This would be a good time to teach that boy that No means No. Just because you want something doesn't mean your wants outweigh the needs of the other.)
As I was cashing out, the boy was there again forcing himself on two cats that had moved to the cashier area with the hopes that there would be some protection. There wasn't. I turned to the cashier & said (when the boy wasn't looking) "That boy has been chasing those cats since I got here." I was insincerely told "Thank you for letting us know". I knew nothing would be done. They don't appear to care about the cats' welfare enough to ask the parents to supervise their child.
The owner replies that I don't know what I'm talking about. So she doesn't want me to believe my own eyes or my own ears?! It's replies like that, that I always take pictures.
If you really like cats, don't financially reward this Cafe with your business until they find a way that both the people & the cats can be happy.
As for the food, my grilled cheese with veggies was good. $16. Latte $5. Taxes & tip $29.
Don't go if you really like cats because it feels like they have forgotten why they opened the cafe. Unless their intention was just to use them as props to attract business.

Évidemment, petits & grands chats se promènent ou dorment un peu partout. Le propriétaire, bien sympathique, leur fait faire quelques tours. On sent vraiment qu'il veut que ses clients & les chats soient heureux. Tout est en place d'ailleurs pour que les chats soient dans un environnement confortable.
Nous avons pris un grilled cheese Cat Lady qui était incroyable! Goûteux, fondant, de bonnes qualités pour un grilled cheese. La salade & la vinaigrette qui l'accompagnait était très bien. C'est un peu cher ( 2-3$ de plus que ce qu'on pourrait trouver ailleurs) , mais c'est si peu de monnaie pour encourager le concept & le si attentionné personnel.
Nous n'avons pas pris de dessert, mais ils nous sont passé en dessous du nez. Wow !
Petit bémol : nous y sommes allés la fin de semaine. À un certain point, une file d'attente s'est formée & l'endroit est devenu moins convivial. Les chats recevaient trop d'attention ( ou plutôt, nous pouvions moins avoir l'attention des chats) & le niveau de bruit était un peu trop haut. La file d'attente devrait être dans le vestibule à l'entrée plutôt que devant la caisse.
Bref. J'ai adoré l'endroit & j'ai déjà hâte d'y retourner en semaine.
