Les chats sont super mais l'endroit est moyen.
Mon conjoint a pris un chili qui était froid dans le milieu (& le prix pour un chili était trop cher!), ma salade avec des chou-fleurs & pacanes était bonne.
Le service était extrêmement lent!
Mon avis est très mitigé & je trouve que l'endroit manque d'amour... Les seuls points positif que je trouve est surtout les chats & le fait d'avoir un menu végé. Je crois que certaines choses seraient à améliorer. Je ne pense pas y retourner, malheureusement.View more

The food at this café was good. If you're not a cat person, you would question the smell. The cats are adorable, very friendly. I would replace a lot of their toys & beds just to give the place a little update & give the cats some new things to play with. I wish they had more cats though.View more

Recently visited this place & was shocked by how hot it was in the establishment. It seemed as though no one remembered to turn the AC on in the middle of a heatwave in June. It was genuinely shocking, & the heat can't possibly be good for the cats here. The drinks were subpar; iced latte was 90% watered down milk, & the lemonade was also not great. We did enjoy the chaud pain perdu, so that helped. The cats were very cute, but I think even they were distraught by the extreme heat.View more

Came to visit on a weekend for some refreshing lemonade drinks. The drinks were cooling but tasted okay.
The place is quite spacious, with a few interesting decor. I like how we have information about the cats to learn more about them. However, the space did feel a little unmaintained & dusty in some corners.

*it was very noisy. The staff let the children run around, scream, & chase the cats away. It was also very distracting to have such loud customers 🙄 the kids almost spilled my drink a few times too
*the washroom stank 😒 of unmaintained cat litter. You have to hold your breath when you open the door to the washroom until you are out of it.
Overall, not a perfect experience when I visited. You'll need lots of patience when visiting the place. I wouldn't recommend the place for people who seek to play with cats while relaxing with a drink or small snack. It is quite disappointing as the space has lots of missed potential.View more

Our visit to Chat L'heureux was a very nice experience. It was fun to see the cats roaming around the café. I didn't mind it but most cats were sleepy (we came at around noon).
The'cat gentlemen' grilled cheese was good. The'cat lady' grilled cheese, which is supposed to have fig jam & honey, didn't taste sweet at all. I wouldn't recommend the drinks as well (we had an iced coffee & a smoothie, both weren't good).
Overall, I would come back to hang around the nice cats & probably try one of their desserts. Customer service was good.View more

Love the idea, but it works better on paper than live. The cats are simply not that interested in people, because by nature, cats prefer sleeping during the day. Some parents should teach their kids to be gentle with the cats; at least, clients seems to be aware to to talk too loud so it's a pretty quiet place. The service was rather slow however, but food was good. Happy I tried, but I probably won't return.View more

Nos cafés étaient peu savoureux & le temps requis pour les recevoir assez long - une bonne demi-heure. La crème fouettée de mon café a fondu & a dégouté le long de ma tasse. L'ambiance était peu chaleureuse à notre goût, mais son calme est parfait pour lire, étudier ou travailler. Nous sommes contents de l'avoir essayé, mais nous n'y retournerons pas.View more

The desserts & coffee were good, but the cats were not as prominent as in some cat cafes. There were 5 & 4 of them slept the whole time & 1 was not interested in getting pets.
It would be great if they had a room of adoptable cats rather than just 5 cats in a quite large restaurant. It was a very nice time despite the lack of cats :-)View more
