Alphabet is my favorite Cafe. The quality of the coffee is amazing ! The atmosphere is so welcoming & the cafe really stands out from all the other coffee shops in the city. The staff is friendly & always make you feel like home ☕️🤍
I came here around October, just as it was starting to get cold out, & I wanted to get the Freddo cappuccino because I saw it all over social media, & I thought it'd be okay since it'd be a warm, cozy cafe. I also got a pistachio cookie. Both were really good. However, they had their huge windows open the entire time I was there & my friend & I got colder by the minute & starting putting our coats & scarves back on, & I even noticed that one of the baristas put a hoodie over their t-shirt. We also noticed that the owners had their coats on. & yet, none of the staff thought to close the windows. It was a bit odd, & we had to leave earlier than we wanted to because we were frozen & worried we'd get sick. This obviously won't be an issue now that it's winter, but just a note for the owners to keep in mind when gets nicer out again. Other than that, this cafe is very vibey inside but not good for studying/reading as there isn't much space & the music is a bit loud, & usually pretty crowded, so better to get a coffee on the go or sit outside when the patio is open. Hope to come back once it's warm again.

This newish café has already made a mark in Mile End. I'm not surprised: great coffee, very good pastries (from different suppliers) & friendly service from Tony & Tom (the two brothers who run the café) & Costa. The space is well lit, & there are seats for about 20 people. First rate.
Best coffee shop in town! Owned by two brothers that are so so so welcoming 👌🏼 Try the Freddo Zesto if you get the chance. It's hot coffee with cold foam on TOP & it's out of this world! Thank me later.
Great service, awesome coffee & ambiance. I usually get the filter, which is perfect every time, but last time I had a bit of a sweet tooth, so I got the mocha. It was the best I ever had!
Alphabet is my absolute favorite coffee haven! Every visit feels like a warm hug for my soul. The baristas are like coffee wizards, turning every cup into a magical experience. The cozy ambiance & friendly staff make it my go-to spot for both catch-ups with friends & solitary escapes with a good book. & let's not forget the four-legged friends that add an extra sprinkle of joy! Everything, from their exquisite coffee to their exceptional staff, from the inviting ambiance to their warm hospitality, is top-notch. As an ardent coffee lover who can't imagine life without it, I cherish this place wholeheartedly. It's where I bring all my friends, & where I often find solace alone with a good book & the joyful company of dogs. Each day spent here exudes nothing but positive vibes.
A must visit when you are in Montreal! My combination experience of banana cake & lattee was amazing ! When you don't have to put sugar to enjoy a lattee you know the coffee is seriously good! Bravo to Cafe Alphabet! Atmosphere & music was the icing on it all! Will be back !!
New coffee spot around the area, from the guys behind Ambros. Great & friendly service, good coffee (try the fredo drinks) & always packed for a reason!
Ordered a mocha & it did not taste like coffee or chocolate. It tasted like hot milk & nothing else to be honest. Other items could have been better but it was a miss for this one. Fortunately, the lady who served me was nice & friendly, however, I did not really like the vibe at all.
Great atmosphere 👌! Very Mile End! Great & beautiful coffee ☕?. The service to be improved! It's a new business I hope the get the rythme soon. I love to have this option here in St Bernard Street.
