Not a fan of the mile end blend because I like coffee's with strong profiles, but Ambros coffee's like Spyro & Enzo are the best coffee's I have ever had. The coffee shop is crowded because of the wonderful & personalized experience they give to their customers. Have never been able to sit down & enjoy a coffee there because of it's popularity, but i'm sure it's a nice ambiance when it's calm & you can take your time to sip on the coffee. To go cups are a tad small for the price. Freddo's are very good. Nice choice of pastries.
I heard about this new coffee shop so I wanted to try it out. WOW! Highly recommend!!! It's a charming, small family owned business with great coffee. I tried the Greek Freddo coffee & I loved it. Doesn't have much in terms of food but their pastries are to die for, especially "Mom's special cookie"

📌Freddo Amour 🩷🩷🩷 Vanilla Strawberry with Freddo cappuccino. 📌Freddo Cappuccino The cold version of a cappuccino, & the drink has a small amount of cold frothed milk on top. The drink is available in Greece, Cyprus, & parts of Italy.
The best thing about the viral freddo amour is the barista giving us a show, everything about the drink is mid, the matcha is so water down & the foam is genuinely just okay, the staff is nice & the price justified (not over 10$) it's cute, but you're really not missing out much honestly.
Croyant momentanément reconnaître la rue étroite où habitait auparavant mon frère, j'ai mis les capacités motrices de la berline à rude épreuve : la surface enneigée, très accidentée, gênait sérieusement la conduite & secouait rudement les vieux os de la voiture. Il s'en est fallu de peu pour que nous restions coincés & que notre sortie au café Alphabet s'en trouve quelque peu gâchée ou, du moins, alourdie. De grâce, nous réémergeons indemnes sur la rue Bernard où nous abandonnons notre moyen de locomotion. Le café aux multiples luminaires est bondé & animé ; une cliente installée aux abords de l'entrée suit de la tête la mélodie rythmée qui s'échappe des haut-parleurs. De nombreux convives que l'on devine Grecs, formellement vêtus pour le jour du Seigneur, ajoutent au côté urbain & branché de l'endroit. Ne vous en déplaise : de soir, l'ambiance de l'Alphabet est à la fête. Malgré l'achalandage & la petite ligne qui se forme derrière nous, un des frères propriétaires prend le temps d'engager un dialogue avec nous, nous expliquant leurs produits phares. Il doit répéter un discours similaire des dizaines de fois par jour, mais on ne ressent aucune lassitude de sa part. Au contraire ! Son amabilité & patience sont touchantes & je prends le soin d'exprimer ma reconnaissance. On se sent vraiment bien pris en charge. De plus, notre position près du comptoir nous permettra d'approfondir nos échanges & d'en apprendre davantage sur leur projet de mettre sur pied un café spécialisé avec une fine touche grecque. Je sirote distraitement mon freddo zesto qui était plus tiède que prévu. Mon amie & moi n'y aurons pas eu, cette fois-ci, de grande conversation intime, mais la joie du fier propriétaire est contagieuse & nous repartons, 40 minutes battantes, le coeur satisfait. En m'éloignant vers la voiture, je me retourne pour capturer un dernier cliché : le contraste entre l'éclatante & lumineuse ferveur du café & le calme de la nuit séduit l'oeil. À bientôt, peut-être ?
Great coffee shop with strong coffee. Loved their Freddo Capp & Zesto Capo. Not a good place to work on your laptop as there are only limited seats for laptop. They encourage you to have coffee socially rather than work there. Greek vibe all the way!

J'ai découvert le café Alphabet après avoir déménagé dans le quartier cet été peu après leur ouverture. J'ai tout de suite accrocher avec l'ambiance, & quand j'ai vu qu'il faisait le Freddo Cap, cela m'a toute de suite replongé en Grèce lors de mon voyage là-bas. Je n'en avais pas bu depuis plusieurs années. Je suis revenue plusieurs fois, & j'ai commencé à connaître Tony & Tommy, les propriétaires du café & du torréfacteur Ambros. Je m'attendais pas à devenir très bonne amie avec eux, mais leur accueil chaleureux, leur bonne humeur & leur bienveillance m'ont conquis. Ils sont toujours très attentifs au besoin de leur clientèle, & permettre à tout le monde de trouver une place pour jaser, socialiser & apprécier le moment présent. C'est plus qu'un café, c'est un moment partagé avec tous les gens qui vont là-bas, & il y a de belles rencontres qui se font. Tom & Tony sont reconnaissant de leur clients, & leur party de Noël qu'ils ont organisés étaient à leur manière un geste pour remercier leur plus proches clients. Je peux dire sans hésitation que c'est ma découverte 2023 en restauration pour l'ambiance, le café de qualité & les viennoiseries & pâtisseries. Je vous recommande fortement d'y passer & de venir boire un freddo (l'essayer c'est l'adopter, & qui sait vous m'y verrez peut-être :P). Si vous n'aimez pas le café, ils ont créé un Freddo Matcha qui est incroyable. Je suis une grande fan & une adepte d'Alphabet !
I came here around October, just as it was starting to get cold out, & I wanted to get the Freddo cappuccino because I saw it all over social media, & I thought it'd be okay since it'd be a warm, cozy cafe. I also got a pistachio cookie. Both were really good. However, they had their huge windows open the entire time I was there & my friend & I got colder by the minute & starting putting our coats & scarves back on, & I even noticed that one of the baristas put a hoodie over their t-shirt. We also noticed that the owners had their coats on. & yet, none of the staff thought to close the windows. It was a bit odd, & we had to leave earlier than we wanted to because we were frozen & worried we'd get sick. This obviously won't be an issue now that it's winter, but just a note for the owners to keep in mind when gets nicer out again. Other than that, this cafe is very vibey inside but not good for studying/reading as there isn't much space & the music is a bit loud, & usually pretty crowded, so better to get a coffee on the go or sit outside when the patio is open. Hope to come back once it's warm again.
Best coffee shop in town! Owned by two brothers that are so so so welcoming 👌🏼 Try the Freddo Zesto if you get the chance. It's hot coffee with cold foam on TOP & it's out of this world! Thank me later.

J'avais peut être de trop haute attente en lien avec les bons commentaires sur les réseaux sociaux. Très beau café, ambiance très sympa. Le staff est gentil & courtois. Seul bémol, je suis peut-être difficile sur mon matcha, mais clairement le goût était celui d'un matcha brûlé (eau trop chaude), un peu déçue. Le freddo cappucino était bon!
only ended up here because i was irate after getting lost trying to navigate some horrible maze of construction in this heatwave & decided to settle for the nearest cafe, but it’s better than where i was trying to go in the first place
matcha freddo was mellow & calming. i typically am lukewarm to western matcha drinks but it really is that good. maybe it was fate to get lost to have this…?
