We went there with a group, the service was pretty good. The drinks were average, but I guess this is the kind of place where people drink beer. The fish & chips was good. The salmon wellington was also good with the mushrooms & the sauce, it was perfect for that dish.
This is the 2nd year in a row we celebrated here! Service was great & waitresses took good care of us. We had a nice space upstairs for our whole team. Food was excellent & drinks were flowing! Thanks again for an awesome time!

A super bar with a huge selection of drinks especially Wiske ! Wonderful warm place to chill at the end of the day ! I loved it ! Staff are friendly & knowledgeable! Thanks to Danielle she was wonderful!
Quick service when we sat at the table at 6:15pm, ordered drinks & appetizers to share. Then waited quite a long time to be able to order our dinner. Online menu (on website the morning of) was showing a « Brandy chocolate mousse » which was not available!!
Finally had to wait another 20min to get our bill (had to get it at the bar count as we couldn’t get someone’s attention).
Burgundy Lion is as good as it gets in every aspect of a well done establishment. The staff on & off site are very accommodating in terms of the reservation or group table booking process. The atmosphere is perfect for an energetic night out with your best people where you can also experience a luxurious, more dim-lighted sit down type of evening as well. This Pub sets the bar high in terms of the food & drinks. The quality of food you'll receive upon ordering off their signature pub-style dish menu is exceptionally good & very tasty. As well as an amazing drink selection where each is made to meet superior standards in both presentation & quality. All served to you with a smile by very friendly & competent staff. Burgundy Lion is fitting for whatever type of night you intend for, providing the best of vibes & always delivering on quality.
Everything about my experience at BL was great! Waitresses we super friendly & knew extremely well the menu, & what to suggest. The food was delicious & so were the drinks.

Great time! The food's so yummy, we had the mac & cheese, fries & drinks, was delicious! Fun ambience, our waitress (Shayla i believe) gave us great service, the whole team is really friendly, can't wait to come back! :)
Food was great as always, service was awful. Ordered drinks didn't show up for 10ish min ordered them again to get them, had to ask for utensils, salt pepper etc. Server never checked on us. Ordered something off the menu & they waited 15 Minto tell us they didn't have it. Etc. Likely related to the challenges of covid & the fight for staff with a rapid ramp up.
Went with friends for high tea yesterday. The room was beautiful & so was the food. We did the all you can drinking mimosa option & our waitress was amazing. Super friendly & made the day great!
Burgundy lion is one of the best watering holes in the city. Great drink selection, pub food & ambiance. They have done a great job modifying their restaurant to comply with the covid regulations. Anyone needing a cool place to have a drink or grab a bit please stop by the Lion
