Le Lion de Bourgogne n'est pas un pub « traditionnel » selon les standards montréalais, ni britanniques. Nous cherchons à présenter un produit supérieur aux autres pubs établis, côté nourriture, service, et ambiance. Le Lion de Bourgogne offre une sélection impressionnante de whiskeys et de bières, ainsi qu'une carte de vins et de cocktails modernes.
Dans l'ensemble, Burgundy Lion est décrit comme un pub britannique chaleureux et authentique au coeur de Montréal, avec une ambiance animée, un personnel amical et attentif, et une excellente sélection de whiskies et de bières, ainsi que des plats de pub appréciés comme le fish and chips, le bangers and mash et des portions généreuses. L'endroit se révèle particulièrement adapté pour les soirées sportives, les quiz, les événements privés et le tea time, attirant des habitués qui apprécient l'ambiance conviviale et le bon rapport qualité-prix, bien que certaines expériences signalent du bruit, des espaces trop remplis et des plats inégaux comme des frites pas assez croustillantes, une poutine médiocre ou une salle froide. Dans l'ensemble, Burgundy Lion apparaît comme une institution locale bien aimée où les boissons de qualité, une cuisine simple et un accueil chaleureux priment malgré des retards de service et des incohérences du menu.
Very cool place with a skylit terrance in the middle of the whole place! The food was good & the burgundy lion beers were great aswell. Will definitely be back next time there's a show at Corona Theatre!🤘

It was an amazing pub in Montreal! A great atmosphere, with friendly & prompt service. I was with my fiancee & in-laws, & we had a great time. I ordered the duck pasta, which was nice. There was a large selection of beers on tap, & they were all very good. It's definitely a great spot!
Was part of a group of 6 people that sat outside on the terrace on a lovely evening thanks to the co-operation of the staff. We all enjoyed the food & beer & had excellent service.
Good British posh pub vibes ! it serves the classic pub comforting food but expensive I tried the bangers & mash with gravy It was tasteful & filling The fish&chips was good, crispy batter & chips. The sticky toffee pudding was a large warm & sweet cake, wish I had a bigger piece of ice cream on top to go with it. Great choice of draft beer too
For a casual drink or get-together, it is a very lively pub. There is a good variety on the drinks menu for cocktails, beer, wine, & cider. The specialty, of course, is the extensive whiskey menu! The staff were friendly & efficient & the interior of the pub had a very warm glow. Would certainly return to this bar again with a group.
Probably my favourite pub in MTL. The food is very good (relative to pubs) - I've had their Shepherd's Pie, Burger, Fish & Chips, & Tikka Masala. So far, my favourite is the Fish & Chips. The Tikka Masala was average, the burger is quite good although inconsistent, & the Shepherd's Pie was tasty. I love their Murphy's Irish stout. It always tastes great & they're generally poured well. One small critique would be bubbles in the head. Otherwise a great pint. I recommend this place to anybody who loves a pub with good food, beer, ambiance, & old-style decore. It doesn't disappoint.
We went there with a group, the service was pretty good. The drinks were average, but I guess this is the kind of place where people drink beer. The fish & chips was good. The salmon wellington was also good with the mushrooms & the sauce, it was perfect for that dish.

Fun pub atmosphere. I have been there twice now & will definitely go again. Beer selection is good & I've yet to try something I don't love from the menu. (we've tried the onion soup, scotch egg, fish & chips, cod, & my favourite so far is the shepherd's pie). This year I plan on trying their whiskey tasting & high tea. Staff is fast & friendly.
A phenomenal British Pub! Good food, good beer, great atmosphere! We did the Private Whisky tasting. The Whisky was amazing, but the experience was made a thousand times more special by Toby. Learning the history behind Whisky & how various distillers work was incredible. Toby's knowledge is vast & his passion is invaluable to the entire experience. If you've been thinking about having a private tasting with an expert guiding you through it; I cannot recommend Burgundy Lion & Toby enough! Thanks for an unforgettable event!
Came to this place after hearing a lot in social media & with friends. If you're a sports fan, then this is a must go place. I went to watch Chelsea V Arsenal, where we drew 2-2, but still the atmosphere was lit. The game was followed by Rugby Semi Finals, & to my surprise the place was packed in all its 3 levels of storeys. You also get a selection of whiskeys, beers & basic cocktails. However the pricing is premium so I reckon you fill your wallet before you come here. I only was offered Breakfast Menu where there was options of Fish & Chips or Burger so cant say much on its food menu. Anyways, it's at least a must visit place for sports fanatics
Food was delicious. The Beer selection is great. The Scotch/Whiskey selection is even better! & the prices are very reasonable across the board for both single malt & blends. Highly recommend!
