The burger was mind blowing. Not kidding. The pulled « pork » burger was one of the yummiest I've had, the'I want this at my wedding' kind of good.
The fries however were really mid, & it really hindered the dish. They had no crisp & were not seasoned, although the mayo was alright. The poutine was also not really tasty. The bathroom are downstairs & were also a bit dirty & icky.
That's the only reason I'm taking 1 star out, but honestly the burger was insane. I do recommend checking it out!
10/10 my favourite resturant as someone who is vegan the staff are nice, great variety of options! nice atmosphere for dine in, food is always still fresh even when you do take out. Their fiance poutine with the mock chicken & kimchi fries are my favourite ! Along with their old school burger & mamma mia burger. Floats are great too

I was really excited to go to Burger Fiance & try their burgers. We placed an order for vegan classics poutine (11$) , fiance burger (22$) & vegan sundae (12$).
Regarding food, I liked the burger, I mean it was of good size & had many things in it , I loved that they had onion ring in it & it was decent. But, the fries accompanying the burger were really greasy & they made me full, I just feel like they can be made better. Classic poutine was an average dish, it didn't sit well with my taste pallet. Loved, vegan sundae, it's really hard to find vegan vanilla ice cream usually & felt so good to have it.
About Ambiance & decor, it's cute & inviting I must say. They had outdoor seating as well. Music is good. Toilet were clean & they are in basement.
About service, I honestly felt that they treated us very differently. They didn't let us sit for long time even though they had empty tables & upon that after we were settled in a table, the waitress asked us to move to the corner table. &, an other waitress took our order & she took it wrong, I have no complaints about it because mistakes happen, I appreciate that the moment she realized it wasn't something we ordered she just replaced it, no fuss.
But, I wasn't given any cutlery or tissues. They just gave to my husband & not me. I was very disappointed with that. I just hope everyone is treated the same.
My family members avoid eating meat whenever they can, I do not, but appreciate good food regardless. This place was close to our hotel & was decently priced. We wanted to try Monteal poutine before we left the city, so this looked like a good bet. Was it ever! Ordered their classic poutine, & their one with'pulled pork'. Very delicious, generous portions, & great price. I'm not from Montreal, but this place would be frequently visited if I was.
So delicious! Had burgers, salads, fries, poutine, & one of their (delicious!) chocolate chip cookies! Everything was so flavourful & clearly thoughtfully made. Great atmosphere & location. Great spot!

Très bien accueilli avec un personnel adorable & prend soins des client. La nourriture étais parfaite ! (Je recommande la poutine, de belle assiette & de grosse quantité ! ) Qualité & service rien a dire impeccable !! Je recommande.
5 out of 5! Burger Fiancé is a fantastic vegan spot that really impresses. The cease salad bowl is a standout, featuring fresh greens & a dressing that's absolutely mind-blowing. The crunchy capers & croutons add a delightful texture that makes each bite exciting. Then there's the kimchi poutine, which strikes the perfect balance of spice & tang, all atop crispy fries that are impossible to resist. The burgers are also delicious, packed with flavor & creativity. If you're in the mood for a plant-based meal that feels special, Burger Fiancé is definitely worth a visit

Friendly service. We ordered the Mamma Mia & Truffle burger, flavours were there but I find the impossible patties not thick enough to really taste them (considering the price) also the poutine fries were a little undercooked but gravy was delicious!
Randomly found this while meeting with a friend & we were all pleasantly surprised. Got the Fiance Burger, the Cheez Burger, & the pulled "pork" poutine. Great service too!
Poutine in Montréal! I will remember this meal for a long time. The carmelized onions, the pulled "pork." The portion size was so big that there was enough to share with my husband. The only negative is that the bar is set way too high. Everything else will pale in comparison. Look this little gem of a restaurant up. It's easy to miss, not much signage in front. I shall return before going home.
The vegan poutine was very good.. it had a nice tangy spiciness to it. The burger was a miss for me. I tried the truffle burger & there just wasn't very much flavor there. I removed the bottom bun & that helped. I think the Impossible patty would have been a huge improvement over the house patty. I'd like to try it again this way. I wish I could have ordered a side salad, but apparently, you can only get a smaller side as part of the meal. A full sized salad (or poutine) would have been too much food, & wasted.
