The café has a cozy, inviting atmosphere that makes it nice spot to relax. The pumpkin latte is rich & full of flavor. Paired with a freshly baked croissant, buttery & light, & a Croissant au Chocolat, it's a simple coffee time . I also picked up a loaf of their sourdough for dinner, & it was absolutely delicious-crispy on the outside & soft on the inside.
Is Toledo really all it's cracked up to be? By Montreal/Paris standards, it's ... rather plainly... standard. Nothing is bad, nothing is incredible. It's all mostly decent (though a bit more expensive than other bakeries) with a few exceptions. So why the 3 stars? Quite frankly the place itself is unkempt & in some areas, not very clean, at least in the dining area. I also noticed that some of their tea & coffee is stored in a shelf which is at the level of their feet, where dirt & dust gets kicked around.

It took some searching to find a good bakery in this part of Montreal, but finally found it! Le Toledo is excellent. Great bread, pastry & coffee. Nice people & great space
One of the best coffee shops in the Plateau. I highly recommend it. Tasty coffee & pastry, always fresh & of good quality. Prices are a bit high though.
I visited this bakery a few times whilst visiting Montréal. They have the most beautiful selection of croissants, breads, pastries, savouries & more. Great coffee & very friendly staff!
When visiting a city & wondering where to get coffee, simply walk down the street & look for the busiest place which is how I found Le Toledo. The coffee is strong, the bread is crusty & the lime yuzu tart delightful.
Everything was great!! I love a croissant with a cup of coffee in the morning. Cortado was perfectly good. Lime yuzu tart was great also. It was really busy day but all staff worked professionally & friendly. Interior was nice.

Ordered a chocolate muffin, apple strudel & croissant. The apple was meh - too much of like an apple sauce inside. But the chocolate muffin & croissant were some of the best I've had. Great texture, flavor, & all that. The shop itself is nice. Like a long rectangle with seating to work or just enjoy your fresh pastry. They also have coffee & chai & desserts as well as fresh baked bread.
Came by here for some coffee & a quick bite, the inside is very warm & welcoming, & lively! Their baguette is delicious, it was so soft & crispy. The service was superb. It was a bit warm inside, that was the only negative.
Everything is delicious & perfect in this French bakery with professional nice staff & a very good coffee. Place is adorable & different style of seats & crowd.

What a wonderful bakery. I got a gateau basque, an absolute bargain at $4, & it was spectacular- dense & rich & just amazing. I'n staying nearby on this 10-day sojourn to Montreal & look forward to trying more. Coffee program looks very solid, too.
I recently visited this charming bakery & café, & I must say, it's an absolute gem! The pastries here are nothing short of incredible. Each bite is a delightful experience of rich flavors & perfect textures. Their selection of fresh bread is equally impressive, with options to satisfy every preference, from traditional loaves to unique varieties like Khorasan & Épeautre. The coffee is delicious & expertly brewed, making it a perfect complement to their baked goods. The barista was friendly & skilled, ensuring each cup was crafted to perfection. The ambiance of the place is warm & inviting. The interior features a beautiful wooden design with cozy seating areas that make you feel right at home. It's a great spot to relax, work, or catch up with friends while enjoying some of the best baked goods in town. I highly recommend this bakery & café to anyone in the area. It's a wonderful place to indulge in delicious pastries, fresh bread, & top-notch coffee. Don't miss out on this delightful spot!
