Cela fait des années que je me sers au Toledo que ce soit a la succursale de Mont Royal ou au marché des Shop Angus. Les produits sont toujours très bons, la dessus rien à redire. Mais concernant le personnel, je trouve que c'est de pire en pire. Que ce soit au service ou en caisse (je n'inclus pas les baristas). Ce matin 27 décembre vers 10h, le jeune homme en chandails gris, cheveux bruns n'avait clairement aucune envie de nous servir. Pas de bonjour, se moque avec un de ses collègues boulangers des touristes qui sont un peu perdus devant moi… Clairement, il n'avait pas envie d'être là (je peux comprendre, je suis dans le service aussi) mais il y a quand même un minimum d'amabilité & de politesse à avoir quand on travail derrière un comptoir. Les caissières étaient en grandes conversations & sitôt la transactions terminées, ne m'ont prêté attention que parce que je restait à attendre mon reçu… Encore une fois j'adore les produits, oui c'est les fêtes & vous êtes dans le rush, mais je trouve personnellement que le service se dégrade avec le temps…

The café has a cozy, inviting atmosphere that makes it nice spot to relax. The pumpkin latte is rich & full of flavor. Paired with a freshly baked croissant, buttery & light, & a Croissant au Chocolat, it's a simple coffee time . I also picked up a loaf of their sourdough for dinner, & it was absolutely delicious-crispy on the outside & soft on the inside.

Is Toledo really all it's cracked up to be? By Montreal/Paris standards, it's ... rather plainly... standard. Nothing is bad, nothing is incredible. It's all mostly decent (though a bit more expensive than other bakeries) with a few exceptions. So why the 3 stars? Quite frankly the place itself is unkempt & in some areas, not very clean, at least in the dining area. I also noticed that some of their tea & coffee is stored in a shelf which is at the level of their feet, where dirt & dust gets kicked around.

Boulangerie très mignonne & cozy. Service très agréable. Le matcha au sirop de pistache est délicieux. Très bonnes pâtisseries, bonne variété de croissants sucrés & salés.

Archi plein un dimanche d'été indien, la qualité & quantité des portions des pâtisseries font que la facture est un peu raide, un café, un chausson, une chocolatine aux amandes & pourboire 15% coûtent une bonne vingtaine de dollars. Mais encore une fois, excellent café, viennoiseries riches & délicieuses!
