Je suis allé à la Boqueria de la cadre de Montréal à table. Ma première impression en arrivant au resto, c'est que toutes les places étaient comblées, mais que presque personne n'avait de nourriture devant elle. Bref, il manquait clairement d'employés à la cuisine. J'ai commandé un plat avec une pièce de viande de porc qui n'était pas assez cuit, & ça m'a coupé l'appétit. La sangria était délicieuse,
I spend summer in montreal & today I just want to enjoy the last hot day . I went for walk & I always pass by Boqueria but today I decided to try . Very good sangria 👌 great food & nice ambiance music . Definitely recommend 👌

What a wonderful dining experience! Tapas & sangria was the plan & that's exactly what we got plus so much more! Loved the setting & had such great service with Shahan & the rest of the team. We had the lobster croquettes, the jambon & fromage bites & then the skillet of shrimp. & to close out the evening, churros (w dulce de leche) & a cup of expresso. Wow! What a delightful meal. Can't recommend highly enough!
Excellent food!! We had the lobster croquettes & they were incredible! Followed by the lobster & potatoes which was delicious & then the paella with beef & added seafood which was amazing! The white sangria was very tasty & refreshing! A wonderful experience! Thank you!!
Tout était excellent. Les croquettes de homard & coca tomate partiellement très bons. J'ai pris le loup de mer, le meilleur que j'ai eu depuis très très longtemps. & la sangria!!!! De la vraie faîte avec tous les ingrédients. Pas de potion préfabriquée. Une bonne addition mais ça en a valu la peine. On va revenir pour la pieuvre

Wonderful break from sightseeing. Service was friendly, food fabulous, sangria great! Despite being out of lobster rolls (which drew us to the restaurant) the charcuterie, potatoes, tomato bread, & iberico ham did not disappoint! Have eaten in Spain in several occasions, & this place was tops!
wow wow wow ! Such a beautiful place, the bartender Justine did such a great job. The sangrias white & rosato are crazy good. Food is tasty & service is personnalized. Will come back for sure. Thank you !!
I've been here two times already in the last week. The food is really good & so are the drinks, the rosée sangria is my fav. Thanks to Jamal me & my 5 friends had a blast.
This restaurant was the highlight of our Montreal trip! Upon arriving at the restaurant, the ambiance right by the waterfront in the middle of summer set a wonderful mood for the rest of the night for my friends & me. We sat down & the server was attentive to our food needs. Started off with wine, sangria & oysters, we already knew this was going to be a great meal tasting the freshness of oysters - felt like it was fresh from the ocean. Right after, we ordered the half chicken & were pleasantly surprised with the large delicious portion of chicken, patatas bravas & legumes. We highly recommend this restaurant for anyone who visit Old Montreal as locals & tourists!

La paella est un régal, la sangria aussi. Les enfants ont aimé les croquettes, les calamars, & ... les churros. Une belle salle & une belle terrasse joliment décorées. Ambiance sympathique.
Service irréprochable même en temps de grand achalandage tel qu'un samedi soir d'été. Servi par le propriétaire (ou un membre du management) qui avait un souci de rendre notre expérience culinaire mémorable - nous avons adoré la sangria à la mangue & la dorade à partager!!! On y retournera certainement!
The place is nice with great vibes, but the food honestly is very average. They serve the food with a lot of olive oil which alter the taste of the food. The shrimp comes with their shell which is a headache for the customer to take off. The sangria is very good, it's the only thing I loved about the place beside the ambiance. It's also over price for what it is, 80$ for a full pichet 🙄🙄 the oyster come with a icy grapefruit topping , not a vinegar & onion based sauce.. it's taste straight out the ocean lol 🫤
AMAZING!! If you're considering coming, do it!! We had the Boqueria sangria which was delicious & the shrimp with an olive oil garlic sauce was the most amazing thing! Also the salmon ceviche, the octopus & the asparagus were all phenomenal. Our waiter Milton was great & the ambience inside & out on the patio is amazing. Highly recommend!!

La nourriture manque de goût. La paella etait fade. Un peu de safran peut etre!. La sangria rouge n'a rien avoir avec une sangria. Trop de bourbon & que dire du prix 80$ pour un pichet..
I'll refrain from being overly negative since I visited this restaurant during its first week of opening. While there were some issues I noticed that I could address with the restaurant owner personally, I'll focus on the food & service for now. The location is ideal for tourists, especially during the summer. We chose to sit inside, although there's also a terrace available. My friends enjoyed their sangria while I opted for a beer. Unfortunately, the food was rather mediocre. It didn't meet the standard of Spanish cuisine I've experienced, both in Montreal & in Spain itself. Our waiter mentioned it was his first day, so while he was friendly, he lacked menu knowledge, which is understandable for a new employee. However, when I expressed my dissatisfaction, they promptly removed the item from the bill & handled the situation courteously. I appreciate that they sought feedback, indicating a willingness to improve. I was more than happy to share my thoughts on what could be enhanced. I'm not giving up on this restaurant just yet & will revisit to see if there's been any improvement before forming a final opinion. For now, I removed 2 stars for the food. Of course, like any restaurant in the Old Port, parking can be an issue (useful information for tourists), but the ambiance of the place is charming. The prices are ok compared to other restaurants in the area.
Amazing meal for real foodies, perfectly sourced & prepared. We had the cockles, the potatas bravas, octopus (this was a winner for my Spain-traveled sister), & the daily special of grilled peppers, perfectly salted. My sangria was exactly what I hoped for. You will not be disappointed!
