An absolute gem in the heart of Montreal. We were greeted by a very warm & welcoming staff & Tyler was our bartender. Tyler could not have been more kind & helpful. The drinks he made were amazing & each was better than the previous. He was extremely easy to talk with & even gave us many recommendations for other bars & restaurants in Montreal. We had an amazing time & the live jazz was the icing on the cake. I highly recommend this amazing place.

Nous sommes allés pour la dégustation privée de Whisky! C'était vraiment une belle expérience! Nous avons pris un Old Fashioned par la suite. Excellent! Le bar est également très beau & l'ambiance est chaleureuse.

We're from out of town & visited this bar on a whim, & I'm so glad we did. Shout out to our server Tyler who brought great energy & vibes! My boyfriend is a big whiskey drinker & he put together some amazing flights for him to try, & also took the time to explain the flavour profiles & answer our questions. They can customize your drinks & flight if you let them know your palette & preferences. We splurged but you can tell them your budget & they can give you recommendations based on that.

This place is great for non whiskey drinkers too! They've got some really cool cocktails & delicious food, like the cheese board & bootlegger poutine. The jazz band was really the icing on the cake. We had such a great time & recommend it to anyone looking for a cocktail bar or place to unwind for a drink after a hot summer day walking around the streets of Montreal!

Nourriture correct ; c'est de la bouffe de bar. Les drinks également correct mais sans plus.
Le serveur complètement à l'Ouest, il a fallu pratiquement aller le chercher pour avoir notre facture. C'était pas un décor incroyable, ça fait la job comme endroit mais je ne le recommande pas spécialement.

En vacances sur Montréal avec mon père, on cherchait des bars avec une bonne ambiance.
Nous avons été très bien accueillis au Bootlegger. Les cocktails sont excellents, la déco est super, & la musique sympathique.

On reviendra un dimanche soir pour une soirée jazz 🪊 !
