What an incredible place to eat. Amazing food (you will not leave hungry). Everything is so fresh from the fruit with your breakfast to the fresh squeezed orange juice. The staff are friendly, helpfully & provide a great atmosphere. Came in for breakfast twice during our weekend trip & will come again when next in town. Brilliant
I came here for the first time the morning & Marie-Pierre was our waitress & she was very good. The food less. My omelette was the Butcher taste was good but it was cold. I told My waitress & she ask me if i wanted to change. I said no but she did it anyways. & the second plate was hot & tasty. I was happy. Thanks to her. My friend had the Avocado lox Toast & it was suggy n dry. But she gave us a discount even if my friend wanted to pay anyways. She is an Angel
Good food, lovely service but unfortunate about all of the plastic such as the milk & ketchup packets. Considering how many customers they serve, it would be great if they could use glass bottles instead.
Bonjour J y suis allée mardi matin tôt. La dame qui m'a accueilli est à mon avis un exemple à suivre en restauration. Elle est de bonne humeur, & est très gentille. Je ressentais qu'elle était heureuse de faire son travail. Le déjeuner était excellent. Merci
We were two families in town from Ottawa & decided to have brunch at Ben & Florentine before exploring downtown Montreal. We were four adults & four kids. The hostess was quickly able to put together some tables for us. Our waitress was super friendly & pleasant. Food was delicious!
Ok breakfast... not the best. I took the waffle english cream with bacon & sausage. Almost no english cream on the waffle, very dry... :( . Service good. Women bathroom - both toilets couldn't flush...the smell was unbearable.
La gérante a été très accueillante, à l'écoute & disponible tout le long du service. Certains serveurs/serveuses était pas très souriant & l'air débordé mais on a quand même passé un bon moment. Bonne cuisine, grand restaurant
Slow service at peak hour, not the server's fault as she was working hard, but maybe the kitchen was slow or they need more servers. My guess it was the kitchen as when I got my food it was cold, especially the waffle. Cold & hard. The bacon was good though which is important.

We had breakfast there every morning during our 12 day stay in Montreal. Excellent food at reasonable prices but above everything the service was the best. Marie & the girls did an excellent job.
Ben & Florentine is an all around great choice for breakfast that I'd recommend. They have a large menu with a lot of variety. The hashbrowns are great! One thing I noticed, though, was a lack of vegan options on the menu. I didn't see anything suitable for vegans, but there are a lot of vegetarian choices. The service was really great. Professional & friendly. The atmosphere was nice & the dining area was really clean. The washrooms, though, are up a narrow staircase & are not as nice as the rest of the restaurant, but there is an accessible washroom on the main floor.
Wonderful breakfast place.... I had an amazing plate & it was very filling yet affordable. The staff were friendly & spoke in English. This place is very recommended
If you enjoy breakfast on the healthier side I think this would be a place for you. While I find the food on the blander-side (due to the healthiness of it). I think the drinks are awesome! The iced coffee, hot chocolate & orange juice are all so rich!
