My first experience with Iranian cuisine in Montreal was absolutely wonderful. We ordered Koobideh, kebab Torsh, & Cholo Mahiche - each dish was rich in flavor & perfectly cooked.
The ambiance was traditional, clean, & peaceful. You'll enjoy a comforting, authentic meal.
Please do not let wrongful reviews done by fake people affect the restaurant- THE BEST PERSIAN RESTAURANT IN WHOLE CANADA! IT IS A PLEASURE TO EAT THERE. I hope the managmenet never changes. Willl always go back there on weekends!
Sweet & neat homy Persian restaurant with very friendly service. Fresh food, proper portion with fair price. The meat is not so dry not so greasy, it fits my taste well. Many options for meat dishes but also for vegetarians.
Wonderful experience, delicious food, & very clean & creative environment. I got the mixed koobideh & it was delightful & tasteful with each bite. I'm glad I got to take some home!
& the homemade baklava & the imported baklava pairs really nicely with the house tea. I will love coming back, that's for sure!
We celebrated a birthday there. The ambience is wonderful, & the food is absolutely delicious. It's a place where you can always have a great time. Overall, the experience was fantastic.

Food was amazing. Disappointed when my group was charged 3,5$ extra for cake service, per person.
There was NO cake service. My friend had made & brought the cake 🎂. The cake wasn't cut or anything. It was just put in a plate (whole cake). So they charged 7 people, including 2 kids sitting at the table, 3,5$ each for cake service. So literally paying for an extra plate each. Have never seen that in my lifetime.
The best Persian restaurant in Canada! Literally the most beautiful interior design you could imagine! I got tears in my eyes when tried their dishes for the first time! Tasted like home!!!!
You could tell that they use high quality ingredients & the fact that they're always packed makes everything they serve always fresh.

Overall, I recommend this restaurant! Very nice staff & good ambiance. I have been twice & last time I went, it was not as good as I remembered it. That could possibly be caused by me not choosing something aligning perfectly with my usual taste, maybe I was feeling too experimental. The entries were very good & it does offer a good experience overall!
Visiting Montreal, we decided to try the Persian food at the Behesht restaurant on May 30, 2025. The atmosphere & decoration were nice. However, that's the only positive aspect of the restaurant. We ordered the most expensive individual dish on the menu, a combination of Koobedeh & Changeh kebab. We were served reheated Koobedh & Changeh kebab either that morning or yesterday. The meat was dry, & the greasy smell of the whole dish was not pleasant at all. When I complained they offered free food to take home which I refused. Do not be deceive with online ratings of the restaurant.
