We went there to introduce Persian culture to our Canadian friends, & everything was perfect! The staff were polite & friendly, & the food was delicious. I'd recommend this restaurant for a memorable experience!

Behesht is an outstanding restaurant in Montreal! The food is absolutely delicious, & they truly have the best kabobs in the city-both the Barg & the Koobide are perfectly seasoned & cooked to perfection. The staff are very friendly & welcoming, which makes the whole experience even better. Highly recommended for anyone looking for authentic Persian cuisine!

I've been visiting Behesht monthly since its opening. While it started strong, the food quality has noticeably declined. During my last visit, the rice was poorly cooked, & the Barg kebab lacked authentic flavor. Only one non-Persian-speaking server was available, leading to long waits. Restroom facilities were also lacking basic hygiene supplies. Still, great parking, nostalgic decor, & polite staff deserve mention.

The place was spotlessly clean, the food was delicious & served in generous portions.
The staff were incredibly friendly, polite, & welcoming.
Prices were very reasonable for the quality & quantity of the food.
There was also easy parking nearby.
If you're looking for authentic Persian food with a warm & inviting atmosphere, I highly recommend this place!

Please do not let wrongful reviews done by fake people affect the restaurant- THE BEST PERSIAN RESTAURANT IN WHOLE CANADA! IT IS A PLEASURE TO EAT THERE. I hope the managmenet never changes. Willl always go back there on weekends!

Sweet & neat homy Persian restaurant with very friendly service. Fresh food, proper portion with fair price. The meat is not so dry not so greasy, it fits my taste well. Many options for meat dishes but also for vegetarians.

The best Persian restaurant in Canada! Literally the most beautiful interior design you could imagine! I got tears in my eyes when tried their dishes for the first time! Tasted like home!!!!

Visiting Montreal, we decided to try the Persian food at the Behesht restaurant on May 30, 2025. The atmosphere & decoration were nice. However, that's the only positive aspect of the restaurant. We ordered the most expensive individual dish on the menu, a combination of Koobedeh & Changeh kebab. We were served reheated Koobedh & Changeh kebab either that morning or yesterday. The meat was dry, & the greasy smell of the whole dish was not pleasant at all. When I complained they offered free food to take home which I refused. Do not be deceive with online ratings of the restaurant.

Behesht is our new go to Persian restaurant. The staff is so kind & polite & the food is delicious.
I feel like I'm dining at a great restaurant when I go there & wish they would remove some of the cheap decorations. The'ouvert' sign or the plastic plants in the foyer. It doesn't match the sophisticated & exquisite Persian dishes they serve.
