We had to wait for about 20 minutes to get a table while some 4 person table were available. Then we had to call them to take our order & without asking nobody came to our table. While their customer service was not good at all, food was prepared fast though.
Behesht never lets you down😍 So far I have had Barg kebab, Spicy kebab & Gheime here, & they were 10/10. The only problem is with service i guess, they have kind staff but they are always runnig around in hurry.
Good food. We had ordered a huge plate for 5 people. 6 people were able to finish it. The plate came with rice & also tea at the end. It took more than an hour to get the food eventhough we booked our tables in advance. We felt we were not served properly, water was not provided until we asked for. Did not like the service but the food was good if you can wait for an hour (we went on a Sunday afternoon, not sure about other days) Restrooms were clean

Very delicious. I had zereshk polo ba morgh (barberry rice with chicken), mirza Ghassemi (eggplant, tomato & rice stew) & kashke bademjan (eggplant dip), all very delicious.
Loved their “gheymeh bademjoon
“ & “kashk e bademjoon”. Very tasty one! Just wished for some fresh/warm bread with some fresh herbs beside “ kashk e bademjoon”!
Good service/atmosphere & free parking. I would defiantly come back here when I am in Montreal.

The waitress was cranky & she tried to make me leave the restaurant as soon as possible. The food was not good enough,. I guess, they just warmed up some already refrigerated foods. Also, the restaurant is too far from the downtown. However, it is better than nothing..

Great food, friendly staff, no single use plastics
Cons:
Not a great location if you don't drive. Long wait time. One washroom probably not enough for the size of the restaurant.
The food quality is just awesome. Every dish is a piece of art & is super delicious. The restaurant is really cozy & traditionally decorated. I highly recommend.

I recently dined here & while the ambiance & service were excellent, I found the food to be less impressive. The restaurant's atmosphere was cozy, & the staff were attentive & friendly. However, the dishes lacked that "wow" factor I was hoping for. While not outstanding, it's still a decent option if you prioritize ambiance & service over extraordinary cuisine.
had the pleasure of dining at Behesht Persian restaurant recently for a family gathering, & I must say, it was an exceptional experience. The new management, in charge for the past year, has truly transformed this place.
First & foremost, the kababs were nothing short of amazing. The flavors were rich & authentic, reminding me of the traditional Persian cuisine I love. It's safe to say that they serve the best kababs in town.
But it wasn't just the food that left a lasting impression. The staff, particularly Parsa & the Iraqi gentleman who served us, were incredibly attentive & friendly. Their warm hospitality added to the overall enjoyment of our meal.
Having visited the old restaurant & witnessing the positive changes under the new management, I can confidently say that Behesht has elevated itself to a whole new level. If you're looking for a top-notch Persian dining experience with mouthwatering kababs & excellent service, this is the place to be. My family & I left with smiles on our faces & satisfied taste buds, & we'll definitely be returning for more memorable meals in the future.
The food was amazing. I loved the barg kebab. After living few yrs in Canada & trying kebab in different provinces ,I can certainly Say that for the first time the food tasted like back home. I certainly suggest this place. Staff also very friendly. Loved this place. The quality of barg was even better than Toronto restaurants.
