The best Persian restaurant in Canada! Literally the most beautiful interior design you could imagine! I got tears in my eyes when tried their dishes for the first time! Tasted like home!!!!
You could tell that they use high quality ingredients & the fact that they're always packed makes everything they serve always fresh.
Good job Behesht!
I found this restaurant through Instagram, & I'm so glad I did.
The food quality was excellent, the atmosphere was beautiful & peaceful, & the staff were incredibly kind & welcoming. Honestly, I highly recommend this place.
Unfortunately, they provide very poor quality food & the cook is rude, & most interestingly, the waiter determines the amount of their tip before serving you the food.
The food quality was excellent - authentic Iranian flavors, with delicious rice, saffron, & kebabs. The atmosphere was pleasant with soft, enjoyable music, & the staff were friendly, smiling, & very efficient.
Really disappointed with my experience here. The chicken for the zereshk polo was actually good, but the rice was some of the worst I've had - it smelled off & wasn't fluffy at all, making it hard to eat. The koobideh was also disappointing; it wasn't juicy & tasted more like a burger patty than traditional koobideh. The one bright spot was the gentleman serving us, who was very nice & welcoming throughout the visit. Unfortunately, the food quality just didn't meet expectations.
In my opinion, this is the best Iranian restaurant in Montreal right now. I tried the Toranj Platter, which was delicious, followed by their Napoleon pastry & tea-it was the perfect combination. The food quality is consistent, & the staff are incredibly friendly & welcoming. If you're looking for authentic Persian flavors & a warm atmosphere, this is definitely the place to go.
Food was mediocre, although being from Vancouver, I know my expectations are high for Persian food. Atmosphere was ok, I think we were there at their quieter time so it was pleasant. The staff member was very friendly & helpful.
I was quite surprised by their price range as it was on the higher end despite the medium quality.
?I am beyond disappointed with my experience here. While the food is one thing, the management's conduct regarding the bill was completely unacceptable.
?Despite receiving no actual service throughout our meal, the manager stepped in & forced a 20% tip onto my bill. A tip is supposed to be a reflection of the quality of service provided &, above all, a choice made by the customer. Being coerced into paying a high gratuity when the staff was non-existent is unprofessional & feels like a shake-down.
?It is incredibly frustrating to be treated this way as a patron. I won't be returning to a place that disregards customer choice & tries to mandate'appreciation' for poor service.
?Pros: None (overshadowed by the experience)
Cons: Forced gratuity, lack of service, unprofessional management
I came here with my friends for my birthday. The quality of the food & the atmosphere were very good. I would like to thank Ms. Sara, who was very polite & the management was excellent.
I don't know what happened to this restaurant but in last 5 month , despite the high price, the quality went down a lot. Last time I ordered more than 200$ to take out , whole BBQs was not cooked well & my kid got sick. After couple of month we've decided to give it another try & orders by phone & asked to have our food cooked well, what we got was burnt food. I don't recommend this place anymore waste of time & money!
