Very tasty & fresh kabobs, served in nice dishes in a cozy atmosphere. Would definitely go back for more, in future. Also quite a few gluten free options if you talk to the waiting staff. Update: returned after a year during our re-visit of Montreal & super happy again with the quality of the food, ambiance & service.

Amazing melt in mouth kebabs & super flavourful rice! We ordered a platter for 2 which had 4 different kebabs, 2 plates of rice, humus & pita & 2 soups. The lentil soup had great balance of ginger & freshness of cilantro! The kebabs were moist & fresh with very prompt service. The meal also came with free Persian tea. The only critique is of the female/ladies washroom which was in a horrible condition & the server asked me to use the men's washroom which was occupied & led to an awkward encounter.
I think it was our 3rd or 4th time here in Behesht. As always great & fresh food. Believe me or not, it tastes like the best restaurants in Iran. Also, nice atmosphere & kind behavior. Highly recommended for those interested in Persian or Mediterranean cuisine.
Beef & Chicken Kabbab are good & a must try with herbal rice. 1st time we went there it was superb. Kishk beitenjan is quite tasty for an appetizer. 2nd time we were there 6 months later, however, the quality of food seems to have gone down significantly. The meat was not fresh, neither the chicken & tasted v ordinar. I will give it one more chance before I rule it out.
Best persian restaurant ever. Recommend strongly! Amazing food very good service professionnal & polite, very good atmosphere, very tasty & fresh made food! Didnt wait long food came & amazing taste best persian food ever since im here in canada 45 years never seen like this. Parking available very easy & very clean & nice decor.
The ambiance was inviting & comforting! The staff (Mr.Parsa) was incredibly attentive, providing great service throughout the lunch. We ordered a mix grill & a lamb shank, kabobs were tender, lamb shank was tasty, & the rice was well prepared. However, I did not like the coriander seeds on the kabobs & the tahdigh was definitely not fresh!
We took lamb shank & the taste was not great. It was ok. Also felt that it was not freshly cooked. Salad was very simple. The environment was very dark. On our second visit, they didn't bread & butter which was served to all tables. Also one of the server was not friendly, she was looking very exhausted. But the mixed kebab was good.
As an Iraninan (persian), I didn't like the restaurant. It's not a high-quality one, as I expected from reviews. The day after we had dinner in Behesht, all of us didn't feel very good. Maybe food was not fresh or something was wrong.

Every time we visit Montréal this place is definitely our number one stop for lunch. The food has a really good quality tasty & fresh. Highly recommended
Loved their “gheymeh bademjoon
“ & “kashk e bademjoon”. Very tasty one! Just wished for some fresh/warm bread with some fresh herbs beside “ kashk e bademjoon”!
Good service/atmosphere & free parking. I would defiantly come back here when I am in Montreal.
We had the darbari for 3, was served with 3 rice & 3 appetizers either lentil soup which was spot on or salad with hummus which was nice as well. The food was more than enough, very generous portion.
The meat was very fresh & perfectly seasoned. Overall a great environment, the indoor dining is really nice & aesthetically pleasing, outdoor seating was nice too but it lowkey smelled weird.
I’d definitely recommend if someone’s into Persian cuisine or looking to try it out, this is your spot!

I had a wonderful experience at this Persian restaurant. The food was delicious, authentic, & fresh. I loved their Kashkobademjan, & kebab Koobideh which was cooked to perfection. The portions were generous & the prices were reasonable. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves Persian cuisine or wants to try something new & delicious. It was a memorable dining experience for me.
