We went on a Saturday night. The food was good, but the overall experience was unpleasant. The restaurant was clearly understaffed. A lot of our orders were missing. In between batches, my friends & I were waiting on empty table for half an hour. The staff were sooo busy. We asked at least 5 times if our order were still coming, every time they said yes. In the end we waited so long that we weren't hungry anymore, just wanted to finish the experience. For this price range, there are lots of other choices.Voir plus

Went on Thursday & it was pretty busy, only 2 floor staff who were very aware & hard working, gave an amazing service despite how busy it was, kept a great attitude throughout the rush & offered great service! Food was delicious, all meats have different, unique & tasty marinades & sauces which were *a m a z i n g*. Appetizers were pretty good as well as the *onion salad* is a must order to pair with your meats, our waiter suggested it & he definitely knows his stuff! However, one aspect that confused me & my partner are the sides, the kimchi & seaweed salad come in take out sauce plastic packaging which is quite wasteful BUT don't worry, the sides still taste very good. Despite every good aspect about Kui, all restaurants have their downsides, so our only uncomfortable experience in the restaurant is the mediocre ventilation, & I am aware that many table BBQ restaurants have this common issue that is mostly unavoidable, but having my hair still smell like bbq currently isn't really comfortable. (I'm about to go shower rn dw) All in all, a great experience & a great service, would definitely recommend & come back again!Voir plus

The Best KBBQ in Montreal undisputed! Staff is happy to work there, the food is fresh & tasty & generous portions! If he isn't busy talk to the owner Lee, we shared a glass of soju & beer, he is an amazing person!Voir plus

I recently dined (with my hubby) at KUI Korean BBQ in Verdun & had a great experience! Our server, Ricky, was exceptionally friendly & made us feel right at home. The all-you-can-eat concept is fantastic, but keep in mind there's a fee for any uneaten food, which is a responsible approach to minimize waste. The highlight of our meal was definitely the meats; the ribeye & chadol (beef brisket) were absolutely tender & flavorful. The prepared appetizers, including takoyaki, fried fish, & fried chicken, were also delicious. I loved the flexibility of ordering exactly what we wanted & in whatever quantities we desired, without the constraints of preset menus. Despite us being really full at the end of our meal, we still managed to order some popsicles (made in Korea!). I recommend the green matcha & red bean one! Being a BYOB establishment made the night even more affordable, & since we visited on a quieter Wednesday, it was a relaxed atmosphere. Ricky informed us that weekends can get quite busy, so reservations are a must! This place is perfect for groups, offering a set price for a fun & interactive dining experience. Just a tip: wear something you don't mind smelling a bit like BBQ, as the ventilation system is a bit old-fashioned & pulls air from the top. Overall, KUI Korean BBQ is a must-visit for anyone craving delicious Korean BBQ in a welcoming environment. We can't wait to return with friends.Voir plus

We have been going to Kui since they opened 2 years ago & I just wanted to say that after two years of eating there the food remains in one word amazing. Good food, quality meats & a super nice service. The owner is so attentive & nice. When you go to a place & are welcome by your name because he remembers it & always takes a second of his busy time to come to talk to you & greet you personally it is a place that you feel welcome & you want to come back to. A big shoutout to Kui & what an amazing addition to Verdun they are.
