I'm leaving my very first negative review in order to help others avoid eating in a mouse infested restaurant. Place was 90% empty at 9pm on a Thursday night, we asked to sit at the bar to watch hockey, & they said no (bar was full of empty seats), as there weren't enough servers in the bar, & put us in the dining room. Waitress was nice, food tasted okay, & we engaged in conversation. It was when we were taking our last bites, that my friend from Texas almost jumped out of his seat, saw a huge mouse run from underneath our booth across the room. When we asked to speak to the manager, we noticed in the 10 minutes that it took for him to arrive, that it was an entire family of mice eating all the food off of the filthy floors. The manager was unapologetic, but seemed sympathetic, & advised us that the owners know about the problem, yet it persists. As I was showing him a picture of one of the mice , my friend pointed him to the family of mice, & he saw them with his own eyes, & didn't seem surprised. I suggested this restaurant to my guest from our of town, as I used to bartend here in the mid'90s. My friend & I have traveled to 30 countries combined, & have never seen such a thing. No apologies or compensation were offered, which is fine by me. We won't ever return. Pics uploaded, one of the mice scurring through the dinning room circled.

My family & I truly enjoyed dinner. Everyone had a different meal & we all agreed all of the food was delicious. I had the NY Strip, sweet potato fries & Brussel sprouts with walnuts. The other dishes we had were the seafood sandwich with potatoes, the Devil burger & fries, & the shrimp pasta. Everything was so flavorful. The waiter was awesome. He was kind, patient & had a sense of humor. My family & I appreciate these attributes. The atmosphere was lively but calm. The portions were filling. The prices were reasonable. I have added Baton Rouge to my list of restaurants to revisit.
