The food was good. But the water tastes bad, unfiltered & from an old city pipe. Please invest on a filter, or change the one you have, I know you can afford it.
I wish I could give the food.more stars. Best meal I have had in a long time. Chicken & ribs were marvelous.
This is the first branch of Baton Rouge I visited in 2014 & still love it.
Steak was mouth watering 😋, really do miss this place. Friendly staff & speedy service. Places at home in Barbados can't compare.
The food was very good. The young waitress was charming attentive & efficient. The atmosphere was warm & happy with a lot of children there without it being noisy or disruptive.
La bouffe est bonne sauf que... La portion de cote levées est 1/3!!! compare les autres fois précédent . Hausse de prix, ok, mais coupé 2/3 portion!! Le hamburger de ma fille est ROSÉ!!! & sec!!! On avait demandé au serveur si c'est normal que la viande du hamburger est rosé. La réponse était oui!!!! Mais personne ne nous avait demande la cuisson du hamburger... Conclusion: Baton rouge, plus jamais
Had a lovely meal here whilst visiting Montreal. Great menu with lots to choose from, but all well cooked & served quickly.
I've been to this location a few times & the food has always been enjoyable (tgis time included). I would recommend for a date night or a small family dinner. However, I would not recommend for a large group reservation. Was there for this sort of event recently & our tables were not ready on time. This happens & is understandable, but the front entrance where we were asked to wait was overcrowded, not just with our group, but several other customers (it was quite overwhelming). Finally we spoke up, as the person we were celebrating that day had a mobility issue & it was important that we got them comfortable...however they could still only sit a portion of us & others had to stand hovering around the tables. When everyone was seated, orders took long to be taken & to roll out. Not one of the 4 children were offered their ice cream included in their meals. One table chose not to have dessert or coffee, so it was just assumed that no one else did, so our table was not offered anything & bills were just brought out. I still asked if I could have a cheesecake to go, but was brought it on a plate & not in a to-go box, despite the fact that everyone was clearly leaving at this point. I feel mishaps can occur morr easily during big group events & that is just how it is sometimes, but it just doesn't give me the urge to have another big celebration there.
The rib steak left much to desire. Very veiny, I mean very veiny. It was so tough to cut that I had to constantly make sure everything else didn't go flying. The waiter was great, the atmosphere is what's to be expected, & there is no line up to get in. I'll try this place again at some point & hopefully it's as good as it normally is

Not to miss! Canada's amazing restaurant chain. Great menu, generous portions & super friendly & professional service! Good for couples, families (kids menu) & work meetings. The meat dishes are absolutely amazing! Must try.
Good place to have dinner with friends or family. The service was good the couple times I was there. The food is a solid 4. The prices, like everywhere else, are getting high. I know this may be tough, but I think the chaîne needs to start thinking about little renovation or redecorating the places. My first visit was outside Québec city with an outdoor sitting & the place was really nice. The other too, including this one, need an uplift.
Excellent restaurant avec des serveurs present & respectueux. Service rapide. PS le calamar est vraiment bon

Ordered a chicken burger & expected an actual burger & all I got was a chicken strip that took up half the bun. Not impressed at all. What a waste of 22$.
I used to eat at Baton Rouge quite regularly, but stopped going there about 6 months ago. I almost always ordered the rib steak which came with slaw & a baked potato or fries. It was OK, but they kept raising the prices & when they raised it to $54, I didn't think it was such a good deal anymore. They probably raised the price again since I last ate there. After they did the renovations, they got really pissy about charging me $5 extra for a little extra sour cream on my baked potato beyond the little dab they give you. The manager Jimmy was a total prick, was extremely hostile & rude to me when I complained about the extra charge. I contacted head office the next day because of the rudeness & one of the assistant managers called me & promised me a complimentary steak dinner to apologize & show good will, but I was later contacted by the owner who reneged on that promise. After being subjected to a half hour lecture about why he didn't feel a free steak dinner was warranted, he promised he would "take care of me" next time I came in. After charging me full price PLUS $5 for extra sour cream, he gave me a $25 gift certificate good on my next visit. I went back one final time to use the credit toward a rib dinner which was awful. The "rack & a half" they offer on the menu, was, in reality, a rack & a tiny extra piece (about 1/10 of a rack for $8 extra) & it was overcooked & dry. The place to go is Marven's. I go there 2-3 times a month. They serve up a huge 16 oz rib steak which beats Baton Rouge to hell. It is delicious. In addition they include a huge Caesar salad & home fried potatoes all for $39. The service is amazing & they don't nickel & dime you for a little extra courtesy. Anybody who ever tries a rib steak at Marven's would never even think about returning to Baton Rouge. I don't like being reneged on after a promise had been made & I am done with Baton Rouge.
One of the best salads I've ever had! The service was fantastic!! I will definitely come back next time I'm in Montréal.
