Great food & drinks with a refreshing vibe that MTL desperately needed. The service was subpar as the waitress serving us was more interested in socializing with her friends & yelling than taking care of our order & asks that she completely ignored.
The drinks & service were exceptional. The space is a bit small so there is a wait but it's worth it. Hugs thank you to Dario. We can't wait to be back.
Loved the place - very cute atmosphere & overall a great vibe. The only downside was the service. We had one server at the beginning who was super nice & really fun, which made the experience great at first. Later in the evening, we had another server who came across as rude, sarcastic, & a bit dismissive, which unfortunately changed the mood of our night.
We also ordered some pretty common drinks, & although the wait was around 45 minutes to an hour - which can be understandable on a busy night - the response we got when we politely asked about them was disappointing. The server replied,'We're quite busy today,' considering we had already been waiting for quite a while.
Aside from that experience, the place itself was lovely.
Super découverte au Bar Edicola. L'endroit a beaucoup de charme, avec une ambiance cozy & raffinée. Le café est excellent & les produits sont de grande qualité. Le service est chaleureux, attentionné & rapide. Parfait pour travailler, relaxer ou prendre un bon café entre amis. Je recommande à 100 % - une adresse à garder!
Great find at Bar Edicola. The place has a lot of character with a cozy, refined atmosphere. The coffee is excellent & the quality of the products really stands out. Service is warm, attentive, & quick. Perfect spot to work, relax, or enjoy a great coffee with friends. Highly recommend - definitely a go-to spot!

Bar Edicola absolutely delivers. Amazing hospitality, wine, & food. We were searching for the best bar with great food & this was it. Had the steak, tuna, & bread, everything was spot on. Perfect stop before a Habs game!
Non alcoholic drinks available. Great menu to order from. You can spend lightly on a cheese order or higher on a pasta or a protein meal. The portions are on the lighter side, perfect for a quick lunch. Excellent service!
This was the best discovery of 2026. The food was so good & the drinks are out of this world. We haven't had dessert yet, but I bet it's gonna be amazing.

Si le couin de sourire est fort en sarcasme sur votre tête. Que le pain sans gluten vous empêches sur un tabouret tournant vers la rue de savourer un menu qui motive l'essai. Le cappuccino sera servi dans l'ambiance mi snack bar mi bar à vin. Le sandwich à la pistache tourne en plan B. Y retourner sans artichaud frais grillé sera moins enviable.
This bar apperitivo is a Gem. Beautiful setting , vibe & atmosphere. The food was delicioius. Benedetto provided us with exceptional service. This is a must try. We're definitely going back this summer.
The food was overpriced. $14 for a few nibbles of cheese & $18 for an ok bruschetta. The wait for food was extremely long (not sure why as it was just cheese with honey on top & toast with some tomatoes) & drink was forgotten, water never refilled. Waiter never came to check on us at all & we waited forever to try to pay & leave.
