The food was overpriced. $14 for a few nibbles of cheese & $18 for an ok bruschetta. The wait for food was extremely long (not sure why as it was just cheese with honey on top & toast with some tomatoes) & drink was forgotten, water never refilled. Waiter never came to check on us at all & we waited forever to try to pay & leave.

Salut Montréal ! Niché dans une petite rue du centre-ville, le « Bar Edicola » est un superbe bar à vins, cocktail & snack bar. Vous y trouverez des plats italiens traditionnels parfaits pour partager, des artichauts frits à la burrata crémeuse en passant par leur assiette de charcuterie, qui s'accordent tous à merveille avec un cocktail maison ou un verre de vin.
Stopped in for a bite after a long drive. It was perfect! The drinks were great & the snacks were tasty & really hit the spot. The servers were so kind.
What a great surprise. I was looking for a cappuccino & got myself into a cool, small bar with uplifting music. I let myself be tempted by an appetizer & an espresso martini; all was delicious. I would like to go back for the evening menu :)
Loved the place, food, service & atmosphere. The zucchini to start yummy. Campari cocktail amazing. The tuna with pistachio & arugula so fresh & delicious. The dessert Caprisi cake yum yum. Service is great. Thanks 😊
We stopped by for a quick cocktail one evening & learned that they also habe morning coffee bar service, so we went back in the morning for a cafè & cornetto.
Cocktails were very good, perfectly mixed at a good price. We had cappuccinos with 3 corenttos in the morning (apricot, Nutella & butter); coffee was made perfectly & corentto were fresh from the oven.
Seating area is small, but even when it was busy you can have a conversation. I would not recommend going with more than 3 or 4 people though, given the shape of the space (a rather narrow rectangle).
The service is very friendly & just attentive enough; I didn't feel hurried but felt we were given time & space to relax & chat.
This has been commented on before, but it certainly has an Italian bar vibe like you get in Roma or Napoli. Would highly recommend this bar!
Such a cute little spot! Stopped in for a beer & a sandwich while waiting for some friends. The bartender was very welcoming. Overall such a cozy experience.
Impeccable! Stumbled upon this place while headed to ANOTHER cafe but was drawn in here! Excellent service, barista was a gentleman & offered me a substitute drink (Nutellachino). Had a pistachio croissant & loved it.
I invited a friend here for her birthday & our first visit will not be our last. We were thoroughly impressed by their exceptional attention to detail & warm hospitality. When it came to ensuring even service im a small but packed room, Laura was perfection. Please try this spot when in downtown Montreal. Grazie per tutto, Andreas 🙏
