This bar apperitivo is a Gem. Beautiful setting , vibe & atmosphere. The food was delicioius. Benedetto provided us with exceptional service. This is a must try. We're definitely going back this summer.

What a great surprise. I was looking for a cappuccino & got myself into a cool, small bar with uplifting music. I let myself be tempted by an appetizer & an espresso martini; all was delicious. I would like to go back for the evening menu :)
We stopped by for a quick cocktail one evening & learned that they also habe morning coffee bar service, so we went back in the morning for a cafè & cornetto.
Cocktails were very good, perfectly mixed at a good price. We had cappuccinos with 3 corenttos in the morning (apricot, Nutella & butter); coffee was made perfectly & corentto were fresh from the oven.
Seating area is small, but even when it was busy you can have a conversation. I would not recommend going with more than 3 or 4 people though, given the shape of the space (a rather narrow rectangle).
The service is very friendly & just attentive enough; I didn't feel hurried but felt we were given time & space to relax & chat.
This has been commented on before, but it certainly has an Italian bar vibe like you get in Roma or Napoli. Would highly recommend this bar!
Such a cute little spot! Stopped in for a beer & a sandwich while waiting for some friends. The bartender was very welcoming. Overall such a cozy experience.
Impeccable! Stumbled upon this place while headed to ANOTHER cafe but was drawn in here! Excellent service, barista was a gentleman & offered me a substitute drink (Nutellachino). Had a pistachio croissant & loved it.

Issu de l'équipe derrière des lieux renommés tels que Bar Caffettiera, Groupe Provisions & Cloakroom, ce bar-café a su réinventer l'esprit des anciennes échoppes de journaux italiennes, offrant ainsi une expérience unique aux Montréalais & visiteurs. Absolutely Lovely. A classic Italian coffee, wine & snack bar in the heart of Montreal. Perfect ambiance & vibe. We had an amazing tuna plate & great service from Lucas.
Bar Edicola is such a gem! My girlfriend & I stopped by for a morning coffee, & it was hands-down one of the best I've had in the city. The vibe is so joyful & welcoming that you immediately feel at home. We came back for a 5@7 & ended up staying way longer than planned, it's the kind of place where you completely lose track of time. The Italian-inspired dishes were delicious, & the hospitality was warm, playful, & genuine. Every second there was a pleasure! can't wait to go back!

Bar Edicola is a brand new spot where Andrea & his partners, also owners of Bar Caffetiera, have done an outstanding job. It's the perfect Italian experience: the meat was delicious (a cooking style meant to be eaten cold & surprisingly tasty), the pasta was insane, & the cold cut plate was truly A1.
We came here right after getting engaged & would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a unique Italian experience. The staff is absolutely amazing, the food is excellent, & the ambiance is simply impeccable. Perfect for those 5-7 vibes when you just want great food, a good atmosphere, & a touch of Italy.
Bar Edicola is a great place to grab drinks & a bite to eat. The cocktails, the food, & the coffee were all amazing. To top it off, the service was great.

I was transported back to my summer trip in Italy. We tried the Negroni, Aperol & White Spritz & Gin Balon, & they were all perfect. It's a fun a vibrant place. The staff is passionate & friendly. I could spend my whole day here from the Caffe to Aperitivo to Dinner & Wine bar 😁. Highly recommend.
