I've tried so many & this one takes the cake. Also, the corn cake is so moist & sweet. The vibes are great, & the staff treats you like a dear friend who's visiting their home.
Tucked away in the heart of Montreal's Plateau, this charming little Brazilian café & bakery became the setting for a private event hosted by Umalia-on a day when the place is usually closed to the public. The result? A rare treat. I sipped on excellent coffee paired with soulful Brazilian comfort food that warmed more than just my appetite. Cozy, flavourful, & full of character. I'll definitely be back for more.
Absolutely love this spot! Bah! Café on Marie-Anne is the real deal for anyone craving authentic Brazilian flavor & a warm, welcoming atmosphere.
Let's talk about the coffee-seriously, it's top-notch. They source their beans from Minas Gerais, & you can taste the difference in every sip. I've tried my fair share of coffee around the world, & this ranks right up there with the best.
But the real stars of the show? The Brazilian pastries. The pao de queijo is next-level-light, cheesy, & so fresh, some say it's even better than what you'd find in Brazil. Honestly, choosing what to eat is a delightful struggle-everything looks & tastes amazing.
The place is bright, cozy, & packed with positive energy. Big windows, friendly staff, & a vibe that makes you feel right at home. Whether you're looking for a spot to work, catch up with friends, or just treat yourself, Bah! Café delivers.
If you're in Montreal & haven't tried it yet, you're missing out. Highly recommend for coffee lovers, pastry enthusiasts, & anyone who appreciates a little slice of Brazil in the heart of Le Plateau.
very kid friendly space & very well decorated. We had good coffees & a traditional Portuguese treat with yucca
If you love good coffee, homemade pastries, & friendly service, this is the place! Authentic Brazilian treats & a wonderful staff make it my new favorite spot in Montreal!
Beautiful cafe with a homey atmosphere! The coffees are on the strong side & the baked goods fantastic, boasting lots of Brazilian classics. Seating can be limited because it's always busy! Check out the record player corner if you have some time, & are craving a little bossa nova alongside your treats 😌
I stumbled upon this beautiful cafe while waiting for my dog at his grooming appt , what an exquisite addition to Montreal's cafe culture!! As soon as I entered I was impressed by the warm & welcoming decor , good vibes & energy !! The owner is so kind & passionate & the food & latte were absolutely delicious! This is such a unique experience in Montreal & absolutely a must visit ! Plenty of seating & also dog treats for your furry friend :) I had a delightful time & can't wait to come back to this very special place :)
Great place for Brazilian coffee & treats! The deco & sound track are pleasant & fit well. It's a good Brazilian coffee, more of a dark roast but really well prepared & tasty. The pastries... Oh the pastries... The cakes were amazing (coconut, corn), the pao na chapa (toasted bread with butter) & the torta de frango (chicken pie) were excellent, the same level that I get from great bakeries in Brazil! I'll definitely be back for more :)
Excellent cafe with delicious salty & sweet treats. Check it out. It's for Brazilians & non-Brazilians alike!
