I've tried so many & this one takes the cake. Also, the corn cake is so moist & sweet. The vibes are great, & the staff treats you like a dear friend who's visiting their home.
Bah! Café offers delicious Brazilian food & excellent service in multiple languages-French, English, Spanish, &, of course, the beautiful Brazilian Portuguese. The place is full of light & energy, radiating a warm & welcoming atmosphere.
Choosing what to eat is a joyful struggle, with a wide variety of both savory & sweet options. The fruit juices, freshly made on site, are a must-don't miss the pineapple (ananas), it's a standout. The coffee is also top-notch-& I couldn't resist buying a bag of real roasted Brazilian coffee beans to enjoy at home.
My personal favorite is the chicken pie (torta de frango), but the coxinha (Brazilian chicken croquettes) & the light, absolutely delicious pao de queijo (Brazilian cheese bread) instantly transport you to a Brazilian household during a soccer game-a Brazilian soccer game-full of passion, cheering, & shared moments with friends & family.
Delicious & authentic Brazilian snacks, sweet & salty, mostly sweet. Brigadeiro & corn cake were the best for me. I had a cortado as well, & it tasted like home. Thank you!
I have been on the hunt for some of the Brazilian foods I tried when I visited there in the spring, especially pao de queijo. When a friend sent me the link to this place I got so excited. Finally I found a place where I could get pao de queijo! My visit here did not disappoint. I did indeed get my pao de queijo & they were sublime. They serve them warm so each bite is a mouthful of cheesy bliss. The iced latté I ordered with it was also pretty tasty. If I hadn't been so full I would have ordered some of their Brazilian sweets, which all looked so tempting. I'll just have to make another visit I guess. 😀 The atmosphere is warm & inviting. On the day of my visit it was grey & rainy outside. Being inside the café made me feel like I was in a welcoming refuge. They also have some nice outdoor seating for when the weather is nicer. It makes me so happy to have discovered a Brazilian café because good Brazilian food is hard to come by in Montreal. Now I know where to come for when I have a craving for pao de queijo. I'll also be back though to give there sweets a try.
The place is very nice & welcoming. Their cakes, sweets & coxinhas are delicious however the chicken pie (empadao de frango) is the worst chicken pie I have ever eaten.
Excellent cafe with delicious salty & sweet treats. Check it out. It's for Brazilians & non-Brazilians alike!
Discovered this new cafe in my neighbourhood on my Saturday morning walk & was pleasnay surprised with the lovely energy this place had. Really good Brazilian sweets.
