Forever love Aux vivres 🩷
My friend & I shared the paratha w butter for appetizer, the coconut BLT sandwhich & the appetizer tempeh tacos. It was very generous portions (not complaining because we ate it all hihi) & sooo tasty. It seemed the BLT tasted even better than before (coconut tasted sweeter). LOOOOVE IT. Sad i didnt take a picture
I have been to both locations. Dragon bowl & BLT on chapati, are my two favorites. The ingredients are always fresh & the portions are always filling. If you have room for dessert try the spicy brownie & a latte.
Excellent vegan food. I mostly always get the BLT. A bit pricey but very generous portion, so worth it.
Really awesome, as always. I had the BLT which was my go-to order at the original location over 20 years ago. It tastes just as good as it did back then! My daughter loved her burger & the fries tasted just like we would make them at home. Lovely place, beautiful plants & atmosphere with a kind & quick service. We look forward to coming back again soon!
5. Great spot!!! Used to go to their other location in the plateau, this one is wonderful too. Big open space, lots of seating, & the same awesome menu. Love the BLT & the dragon bowl- always! They're super accommodating of allergies- they have a booklet where they can check for all allergens in all of the items, even the dressings & sauces & they're happy to make susbtitions. Don't sleep on the vegan butter or the dragon sauce- both can be taken to go. The bathroom in this location is down a set of stairs & they have a change table in the women's middle stall. Great place for kids too.
Ok, the BLT is out of this world. Out. Of. This. World. I could write 10,000 love poems about that damn thing. Oh, & the mango lassi is f'in hella good too (but due to anti-plastic regulations that are admittedly out of their control, it's now only served in a paper coffee-cup kind've thing when ordered for take-out & it almost ruins the experience). The rest of the food is consistently meh. Many sauces feel cheap, too creamy or too ketchup-y. & those dang potato wedges really need a glow-up. I do like the place overall. I have a soft spot for its placement & ethos. I want every foodstuff here to be better but I'm always let down, especially given nothing comes close to that f'in godforsaken mind-blowing BLT. As for service, it's respectable, & I do like most of the staff (I've seen many over the years) & they segment as follows IMHO: many seem like complicated zillenials with fragile inner lives & sympathetic progressive values, a few look mildly scared or checked out, a couple seem cool & sassy, & one or maybe two have seemed bratty & self-involved. But, hell, people is people.
