Had an amazing dinner. The wait staff was excellent, friendly & fun! The food was extravagant & delicious. Such a great experience you can only have here in Montreal.
One of the absolute best meals I have ever had! I sat at the bar & enjoyed fantastic explanations from Chef while Emille (manager on duty) was an amazing host!
As always, pdc is incredible. Great people fun, atmosphere & incredible food.

The hostess & staff were very friendly. They made our visit so very enjoyable as we got into the foie gras themed plates that I call "La bouffe du diable" aka the devil's food. This a term that the chef appreciated as we devoured his amazing & wonderful creations. We started with the oblivious draw: foie gras poutine, the first sinful act. Then, the plogue a champlain, which combined decadent foie gras with a grilled ham (wasn't sure if it was but doesn't matter as its mixture brought on the a mouthgasm). The main courses were a lovely blood sausage & foie gras pie & aged pork chop with cabbage & an incredible mushroom sauce. I needed a glass of red wine to complement all that heart attack-inducing goodness & was blessed with a generous grail of a velvety Pinot noir. Praise the Dark Lord! When I thanked the chef & mentioned that I had hoped my dining companion would order the pork chop so I could order the foie gras mapo tofu, he said he would bless us with a sample. "Holy F*ck!!" was what came to mind when I had that first bite. My dining companion uttered "OMFG!!" I am & remain in awe of this amazing if not best dinner I've ever had. I thank the chef & his staff for creating an astonishing ambiance for us to submit to La Bouffe du Diable! Praise be to his mastery of Foie Gras!!!
The meal was incredibly well balanced in flavors combining the meat with the natural bitterness of herbs & greens & the creaminess & sweetness of the accompanying ingredients. The scallop rotolo appetizer was perfectly cooked where the scallops had a almost cheese-like texture. For main, we got the tanjia, complemented by a blue cheese salad upon the waiter's recommendation for a balanced flavor. The tanjia was earthy & rich, served with sauces that added a refreshing, slightly sweet, & spicy flavor, along with crispy bread. This was well balanced by the light & refreshing salad, preventing the meal from feeling overly heavy.
Delight to the senses of tastes, sights, & sounds. The ambience was comfortable, staff were completely professional yet friendly as they check up on you every so often. Chef came out to chat with us & decided to send us a sample of the Ma Po Tofu foie gras when we mentioned one of us wanted to order it. Very friendly & generous. Certainly a pleasant experience & will return.
Bouffe excellente, ambiance bruyante mais très conviviale, service impeccable & rigoureux!

Awful value for $250 for 2 apps + 2 entrees (one of which was pretty much inedible), no drinks, embarrassing/inattentive slow service. Bar seating in narrow path with staff regularly bumping into chair. Staff was inattentive & what was supposed to be a quick meal dragged out as an uneaten entree sat in front of us for 40is minutes, at which point we finally got the chance to say the dish was too salty to be able to eat comfortably, & the supposed manager just told us we didn't understand the dish (I've eaten Tanjia in Morocco, I don't think that is the issue). No remediation was offered. It then took another 20 minutes of circus to communicate that we wanted to leave/pay. Staff dumped a large amount of very oil/soupy entree into an absorbent cardboard clamshell with low sides which it easily soaked through making it near impossible to handle/transport, even though they had quart containers made to transport liquids right next to the clamshells. Would not be returning. I know there are off nights but I have such a hard time imagining this is the same prestige restaurant an experience that everyone else is having.
Some of the best food I've ever had. Sever was so friendly & I felt like I was experiencing Montreal the way it's supposed to be experienced. If you want a great meal in Montreal this is the place.
Un environnement très sympa & accueillant ! Nigiri du foie gras & pied de cochon recommandé !
A high energy romp through a fantastic & creative menu featuring pork, duck & foie gras - amazing!
Unfortunately, I have to rate poorly. Food was excellent, but I had to ask for food after waiting for 2 hours.....
You can never go wrong here. Best place to indulge. How they are not Michelin starred is unbelievable.
It is few & far between that you can rate a 5/5 on atmosphere, food, & service. Au Pied de Cochon was exemplary in all areas & evoked an emotional experience which makes for a memorable lasting impression when visiting Montreal. This was a highlight.
Such an amazing meal!! Lovely cocktails mojipfo & matante rhubarb. Every dish an artistic achievement, so many complex flavors, so delicious! We began by dousing our eggs on duck temaki, relishing the bleu cheese salad with crunchy nuts, & the buckwheat pancake in foie gras. Then dove into the legendary canard en conserve & the aged pork chop, finishing with a coffee-cream enhanced flan. The waitstaff were perfect & the ambience super-high-energie!
Our experience was outstanding, the food, the wine, the service. All our meals were prepared perfectly. Our service was well paced & not rushed, even with a full house. The wine suggestions were excellent. Very happy we had a chance to dine here after years of wanting.
