Fred provided an exceptionally high level of service. He is very knowledgeable, made great food & beverage recommendations & while very busy, was never too busy to take care of our needs.

We enjoyed the food but both my husband & I got diarrhea! It could have been the fois gras .
Our servers were great & the wine suggestion was perfect.
Aside from the fois gras dishes, everything was pretty two dimensional flavor-wise, over salted, & extremely over priced. I think this place rests heavily on its reputation, & ultimately is about as good as your average bistro in NYC or SF. The friendly waiter upsold me 25$ glasses of wine & our service deteriorated once I stopped drinking. Won't go back.

Second time here, did not disappoint in any way. Would visit again the next time we are in Montreal.

Delicious...! Highly recommended for foie gras fans. The staff are extremely nice. Service was fast, not like mentioned in the comments
Tip: Ask for the special menu & black knives if you are having duck in can (their specialties)!

What a DECADENT meal. Everything was extremely good & the service was fantastic.
I would definitely come back again, & I would load up on just the appetizers & foie gras. The mains were great, but not as delicious in my view.
Particular stand-outs:
Oyster: Never would have thought an egg yolk with an oyster would pair so perfectly!
Temaki: Soft textures, robust yet delicate flavors
Foie Gras Nigiri: Very unique combination, creamy, salty, & sweet all in one bite.
Foie Gras Parfait: The foie gras mousse is unbelievably rich. You'll need extra baguette to spread onto unless you're a glutton for punishment.
Salt & maple sugar fries: Never knew I wanted sweet with my pomme frites!

Our table was directly under the speaker in the back of the restaurant & it was too loud. We couldn't hear each other talk over the music at some points. Everything else was good / great.
The wait for the food was far too long (45-50 minutes!) & tables that were seated after us received their food faster. We ordered baguette on the side but it appears they maybe didn't have any left or something as we were offered other bread. When the food finally arrived, it was not as hot as expected. For the inconvenience of waiting, we would've expected some food items removed from the bill but this did not happen. Overall, would not come back.
Fabulous food well worth the wait! But there was a bit of a wait with no menu when we sat down, bread arrived 45 mins in, drinks & first course almost an hour. Our waiter disappeared most of the night but the manager was working very hard all over the place for sure. But other than skipping dessert as we didn't want to wait, we had a fabulous experience & the dishes were even beyond our already high expectations.
