Simply one of the best restaurant on earth. Because it blends gorgeous & generous food, friendly & passionate service & a unique relaxed & cramped atmosphere Can't get enough of this place!View more
The food was amazing! We ordered the Duck foie gras poutine, the pork chop, Duck in a Can & Pudding Chomeur for dessert. We couldn't be more impressed with the flavour & the quality of our meal. Our server was fantastic & was very thorough in taking us through the menu. We were sat at a deuce table in front of the service area which was very busy & chaotic. We felt several times that the servers or staff would fall into us but instead ended up bumping into each other to navigate the narrow aisle. There really wasn't enough room for the table & the staff in that area. But we were very glad to have had the experience at this wonderful restaurant & wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone.View more
Average restaurant living off trendiness & the name. Food is very heavy, greasy, & salty. Price is very high. Another Instagram type restaurant with no substance. Ambiance could be nice but it's way too crowded & the vibes aggressive . I've also heard after my visit that they underpay & mistreat their staff. Hard pass.View more
Third time visiting, & the last time was pre-COVID - this place is still off the charts good. Unpretentiously amazing food with amazing staff that are clearly passionate about Au Pied de Cochon & what it provides to its guests. The food is to die for so yes, not something you would eat everyday, & yes, they make it worth it. Aged pork chop was amazing this visit, & the dessert... a crème flan-of-sorts swimming in maple syrup & coffee foam... wow. Go & enjoy!View more
We loved the food & atmosphere & the service was amazing!View more
Yes, this place is worth the hype. It's decadent, irreverent but ultimately stupidly delicious. This is ugly food that tastes better than most things you've had. Wine menu is impressive but they also have a cider offering that keeps you happy. Overall must visit in Montreal.View more
all the foie gras were sensational! My personal favourite is the nigiri, simple but very well balanced, you can taste the foie gras in its pure taste, buttery & creamy! Service was amazing too!View more
This place lives up to the hype, amazing food. No issues if you only speak English.View more
Celebrated a milestone birthday with a visit to Au Pied de Cochon, & it was delightful. The food was superb, the drinks delicious, & the room was packed & buzzing. Eat up, save room for the pouding chômeur!View more
Love it. A must visit place each time I go to Montreal!View more
Food was very rich. Lots of fat with everything we ordered. I expected that with the fois gras, but not the tagine or the canned duck. I'm glad I finally went, but likely won't go back. Service was excellent, only one bathroom, really nice wine list.View more
View more
Friends had recommended/demanded I go to Au Pied de Cochon when I visited Montréal & they were not wrong - this was just a fabulous night. Could not fault it on anything - food, wine, service, atmosphere or price. I had excellent veal sweetbreads, snow crab mapo tofu & the devastating Pouding chômeur as well - totally full but so worth it.View more
Nous adorons ce restaurant!! Nous sommes épatés chaque fois !!!View more
What a fantastic restaurant & experience. I would give it 6 stars if I could! The staff is really friendly, engaging, & courteous. The food is impeccable & the portions generous. The drinks (cocktails) were amazing, & they'll even make you customized cocktails that aren't on the menu. The vibe & atmosphere, a little busy but fabulous. Everything we tried was full of flavour & the highlight was the duck in a can & the creme caramel dessert. Highly recommended this place even if you get a 5pm reservation! (They're pretty much sold out always)View more
