Deuxième visite, & ce sera la dernière. Nous étions quatre couples. Service : Le service a été complètement désorganisé. Nous avons reçu des plats que nous n'avions pas commandés, & les serveuses se sont trompées à chaque étape. Les factures nous ont été apportées, puis reprises, pour nous être finalement rendues 20 minutes plus tard, remplies d'erreurs. J'ai même payé un plat qui ne nous appartenait pas, simplement parce que je voulais en finir & partir. Cuisine : Le canard en canne était tiède... Rien de comparable à ce que j'avais connu il y a quelques années. En résumé, l'expérience n'était pas à la hauteur de mes attentes. Je n'y remettrai plus les pieds.View more

We looked forward to this religious & gastronomic experience for so long & thought we would lose it as we were caught in rainstorms, running up & down the streets trying to find this mecca. When we entered the door, 20 minutes late & "soaked" within 1 minute, we were at rest, like entering a loving friend's kitchen. The hostess reset our night instantly. Our waitress, server, & table attendant were the perfect narrators of this fabulous night. From urchin amuse bouche to duck in a can, the night was memorable as our favorite dining experience. I'll start by saying this was the best service from a waitstaff that I've experienced. The dishes we choose were all 10/10 & I recommend you copy these items: cold tomato soup dish, scallops, tuna temaki, nigiri, halibut, saffron ice cream dessert. Writing them all out doesn't do it justice, they were all creative & perfect. I've reviewed 1000 restaurants & this place deserves 4.8+ stars. Really 5.0, but that's impossible when an establishment has 2k reviews. Thank you!View more

My friend & I had a 10pm reservation at the bar where we could see the kitchen & enjoy both the dining atmosphere & the energy of a team that is passionate about what they do. We shared two appetizers, a main, & a dessert (which we took home because we were very well fed). The service was incredible, the staff were friendly & knowledgeable, & extremely concerned with guest satisfaction. As a cook by trade, I was greatly impressed. There was one dish that was extremely well executed but wasn't to our taste simply due to personal preference. The staff insisted we try another preparation of that star ingredient which was delicious! Having both the front of house & back of house staff share in our experience was truly memorable & well worth the price. A big thank you to the APDC team!View more

Despite the hustle & bustle, we felt well looked after & had a fantastic food experience. Just wish it were easier to get reservations! The choux pastry with foie mousse was the absolute BEST.View more

Quel service à la clientèle ! Tout était parfait, sans aucune fausse note. Beaucoup de travail pour arriver à d'aussi beaux résultats, que ce soit en cuisine ou la « brigade » du personnel qui a tellement été aux petits soins afin de rendre notre soirée des plus agréables (& ils ont réussi avec excellence. Merci à notre hôtesse principale Mélina pour son professionnalisme hors paire ainsi qu'à tous ses collaborateurs). Nous reviendrons assurément !
Incredibly overhyped. Staff was inattentive & somewhat dismissive. Scallops were gritty, which we informed our waiter about & they did nothing to rectify this issue when we paid. We opted to eat outside &, while the interior seemed quite lively, the exterior lacked any ambiance. We won't be returning, nor will we recommend this place to others.View more
Foie Gras theme is a bit of a gimmick. If you love Foie Gras above all else, then you'll love this place. Otherwise not much to write home about. Ambiance is underwhelming & service is too. There are much better restaurants in Montreal for the same price.View more
Had the Canned Duck & it was very flavorful & rich. Definitely need to reserve a table in advance & expect it to be busy.View more
