Au Comptoir MarCel is a restaurant and wine bar where gastronomes can come and discover an imaginative cuisine where everything is homemade. Just like the owners, the menu offered is also a piece of their identity, where they come from and where they have been.
Adventurers at heart, the two partners have traveled around the world for years. It was during their years in the Swiss Alps they began to imagine this place, inspired by their weekends discovering Europe, its vineyards and its culinary treasures.
Au Comptoir MarCel welcomes you in a relaxed and simple ambience where you can come and satisfy your thirst with a selection of privately imported wines, beers and ciders from local microbreweries along with a shared menu that changes throughout the year…without forgetting unique brunches served on weekends.

We went there for Valentine's Day & everyone in the staff was amazing, especially the maitre d. The amuse bouche was a real treat with the homemade focaccia straight out of the oven. Started out with oysters & salad. The oysters may not have been the best I've ever had, but the mignonette was just right & the salad was fresh & well dressed. We both went with fish for our mains, mine grilled, hers with a miso broth. Everything was fresh, inventive, nourishing, & most importantly delish. Just a really great experience. We will be back!

Restaurant excellent enfin une table qui se démarque du traditionnel tartare ou burger de plus le service était impeccable merci à Stéphanie & toute l.equipe je le recommande à 150% si vous voulez quelque chose de différent nourriture impeccable & choix de vin au verre ou à la bte Merci
Endroit très agréable avec vue sur la rivière Magog. Nourriture excellente & un très bon service. La personne nous ayant servis était très attentionnée & très gentille. Le choix des vins intéressant.& que dire des huîtres hummmm! Un régal. Fortement recommandé. Cest un secret bien gardé a Magog.
De retour au Comptoir MasCel en ce 30 janvier 2026 pour un lunch entre amis. Toujours aussi agréable, bonne bouffe, très bon service avec beaucoup d'attention...

Enjoyed it so much we ended up eating there for 2 of our 3 nights in Magog. Ordering the tasting menu - & not knowing what as coming out - was a highlight of our trip.
A cut above the restaurants usually rated well in Magog. Cuisine originale, bien présentée dans un lieu vraiment charmant. Le service était excellent.
