We had an amazing evening au Comptoir Marcel. We ordered the 6 service discovery menu & each dish was delicious.Celine's wine paring was perfectly chosen. The bouillabaisse was my favourite along with the calamari. The quality of the food met my high expectations. .

An absolute delight! We ordered the tasting menu & were blown away by how fresh, creative, & flavorful everything was. Plus, the portion sizes are surprisingly generous. With its top-notch service & fantastic ambiance, this is a must-visit spot for an amazing dinner in Magog. Highly recommended!

Une très belle surprise à Magog ! Je recommande fortement cet excellent restaurant. Nous avons pris le menu dégustation & les vins qui accompagnent les plats. Tous les plats étaient très goûteux, savoureux & exquis. Les desserts étaient tous d'une fraîcheur comme s'ils sortaient du four ( crème brûlée, churros & tartelettes portugaises). Le plat signature ( une bisque accompagnée de fruits de mer) était vraiment savoureuse. La Gazpacho était complexe & vraiment délicieuse. Il y avait aussi de la bavette avec sauce chimichurri & des légumes, dont un chou de bruxelles grillé qui était vraiment bon. Le service fût excellent toute la soirée (fréquence d'arrivée des plats, explications, cordialité). Bref, une très belle expérience culinaire ! Bravo à toute l'équipe & à la prochaine, vous allez nous revoir 🥂
I do not recommend this place for multiple reasons. We were initially very hopeful to have a nice food & service, which was not actually the case. while the food itself was good, they were very cold specifically the calamari was really cold & hard to eat. The worth part was the service which was a total disappointment: very slow & not caring, & the staff were just joking & laughing together, & as a result we had to ask for every thing & eat a cold food. Another thing is that their food is almost limited to seafood & it was only one red meat option. The'charcuterie' dish had only two kinds & really limited & disappointing. The price, considering the poor service & cold food was expensive & unjustified. The view of the patio is very poo
I was underwhelmed by the atmosphere of the restaurant. The view of the marina was rather disappointing & the interior of the restaurant is dated. The service was unacceptable for a restaurant claiming to be of a higher standard. Service were rushed & seemed overworked & as a result service was rather terrible. Service at Koz andvTaverene 1855 was significantly batter (no comparison). The food was very good, I will not be back nor will I recommend to others

Nous avons pris les produits de la mer (poissons & crustacés) & c'était vraiment très bon. La cuisson sur grill donne un résultat incomparable. Nous recommandons chaudement.
Un restaurant qui mérite le détour. Une cuisine du Portugal tout à fait réussie. Le service est chaleureux & l'ambiance est très agréable. Je recommande lors de votre visite à Magog.
En général, l'ambiance & le concept pour lequel nous (4 adultes) y sommes allés était bien. Je mets quatre étoiles & non cinq pour l'ambiance car nous étions assis relativement proches des autres tables où nous pouvions faire part de leur conversation. Plus la soirée avançait, plus la musique devenait forte où nous devions parler un peu plus fort pour pouvoir s'entendre mutuellement. Pour les groupes supérieurs à deux personnes, je recommande fortement que vous réservez suffisamment à l'avance pour vous assurer d'avoir une date & heure qui vous conviennent le plus. Les serveuses connaissent leur vins, ce qui est très agréable & permet d'en découvrir plusieurs, tout au long du repas.
