The food was simple but you can tell the people who made this have the skills & technique to deliver a great plate of food.
I mean it didn't blow me away since it was a plate of eggs, ham, cheese & jam with sourdough bread but it was a good dish, well executed.
The madeleines were delicious, not too sweet.
Should go back to try the other dishes people rave about for this restaurant.
Such a great addition to the neighbourhood, we got to try this new spot & it was very underrated. The tuna carpaccio was insanely fresh & the whole flavour combo was very well done. The patatas bravas with cured speck was very original & a crazy combination that paired super well together. The spritz was very refreshing, can't go wrong with a classic. The Nduja Romesco Pizza was the star of the show, such a delicious flavour combo & not too spicy either. For the price point this place was very well priced so I'd definitely recommend checking it out.
Also, this place is a cafe during the day so that's a plus!

We went there for a quick bite & ended up waiting for an hour to eat- note that it was not busy. Since we only got 1 pizza so I thought ok it might just take awhile for the mains. Turned out the server (might have been the manager) forgot to put the order in lol
This was only discovered when the another server check in on us. Bless his soul, he seemed nervous after finding out what happened. Finally the food came out, & as soon as we started eating, one of the staffs decided to sweep the sidewalk right beside us... Dust for toppings...
Since we had to leave soon, the new server was about to drop the bill but he wanted to check with the manager if he could adjust it to make up for the wait. & then, he returned with some madeleines... like I know you have to leave right now but this is what we can offer so EAT THIS... how unhinged could it possibly get???
I'm leaving a 5 star review solely for the pizza. These things really affect the business so I hope y'all can improve the service eventually. Have never left a bad review but this was truly bizzare
La Dolce Vita di Mile-End !
Un lieu ambitieux, convivial-chic, romantique, foncièrement chaleureux. Un zest d'Europe avec une terrasse fleurie pour un café farniente en matinée ou pour manger dehors. Le service est top & chaleureux (merci Marc-Antoine).
Le soir on soupe aux chandelles, & des vraies !! En hiver c'est magique. Pas de réservation par contre, & donc un peu d'attente l'hiver.
Super déco & fleurs. Mémorable bouquet de pivoines, mais je me souviens aussi d'un triomphant bouquet de poireaux.
La nourriture est elle aussi à la fois classique & revisitée : la salade César par exemple est savoureuse, & la salade de radicchio est signature, je la recommande. Bonnes portions, & bel équilibre dans l'assaisonnement.
Les pizza sont napolitaines, elles sont bonnes mais la Margherita est peut-être un poil trop chère pour être vraiment de Napoli. J'ai donc été tentée par l'innovante thon/fenouil, sauce piquante. Pas mal du tout.
Très bel endroit, beaucoup de goût, de bonnes vibes, je recommande fortement.
I added the café to my favorite. The carrot cake was one of the best I've ever had. It had a perfect balance of sweetness, & the flavor of the ingredients really stood out. The staff were kind & friendly as well. I'll definitely come back soon!
Excellent restaurant que je recommande autant pour le déjeuner, le diner ou le souper.
