Review Summary

Au Coin is described as a warm, inviting spot with an open kitchen that creates a lively, homey atmosphere and a space that feels both cozy and stylish. Reviews praise the sourdough pizzas, the crust, and the butter trio, along with handmade breads, pastries, and the Madeleine dessert, all complemented by a thoughtful wine list and a design that pairs well with the food and drinks. The vibe is consistently highlighted as welcoming and convivial, with friendly, attentive staff and an atmosphere that suits both day and night. Service can be uneven at times, with occasional waits or seating confusion, but when it runs smoothly it feels generous and professional. Some menu notes point to a margarita pizza that was too acidic for some and smaller portions for the price, while others sing praises for the pesto kale pizza and other offerings, and vegetarian options are sometimes seen as limited. Overall, Au Coin is viewed as a standout new favorite for high quality, flavorful cooking at approachable prices, drawing crowds for pizza, brunch, and a lively yet intimate dining experience.

my partner & I were seated right next to the kitchen pass & I swear to you, it was the best experience. felt like I was sitting in my grandma's kitchen, everything was so warm & inviting & it was an absolute treasure to watch the food being prepared. you can tell there is a lot of love in this place & the staff care about the food they're putting in front of you.

p.s. try the butters. I am forever changed & wish I could buy their butter trio to use at home

Our evening at Au Coin Pub Gastronomique was nothing short of exceptional. Despite arriving late & making a reservation for eight, the team welcomed us warmly & graciously offered a full kitchen menu - a level of flexibility & hospitality that truly impressed me.
The duck confit was outstanding - perfectly crisp on the outside, tender & rich within. I paired it with a classic whiskey sour, beautifully balanced & true to tradition. It was the perfect complement to a winter evening in Tremblant.
I also had the beetroot & goat cheese ravioli, which was both elegant & comforting - earthy, creamy, & thoughtfully prepared.
The atmosphere is exactly what you hope for in a mountain village pub: old-world charm, lively energy, & a room filled with fellow skiers sharing stories & gearing up to conquer the slopes at sunrise. There's something special about that kind of ambiance - warm, spirited, & full of anticipation.
If you're visiting Mont-Tremblant & want a place that blends refined cuisine with authentic pub character, this is it. We'll absolutely be back.

If you're looking for the best pizza in Montreal, this is where you find it. Perfect sourdough crust & lots of different options to choose from. The staff is warm & always on top of it. The restaurant itself is gorgeous. The open kitchen has a very cozy atmosphere, where you can see the chef making the food in front of you. This has to be top of your list if you haven't tried it yet.
