The caesar salad was insanely good, the pizza as well! Nice cozy little spot with good food & coffee but the service was so bad. We were clearly being rushed because of their long lineup & they looked annoyed when we ordered more.
A wonderful Mile End establishment, at the corner of Fairmount & Jeanne Mance; friendly staff, cozy & eclectic decor that reflects the artistic spirit of the area, & great coffee.
Coffee was really good! & the food was also good, the eggs really fluffy & nice & the prosciutto so tasty! The Madeline was very soft & moist very good. Service was ok, a bit rude.
Really loved Au Coin. From the moment you walk in, it has that trendy Montreal buzz - great music, beautiful open kitchen, stylish design, & a warm but lively atmosphere.
The food was excellent. The soft scrambled eggs with ham, cheese, bread, butter & jam felt simple but perfectly done. The yogurt bowl was fresh & beautifully presented, with fruit, granola, honey & chocolate. The potatoes with sauce were rich, crispy & full of flavour, & the salads looked incredibly fresh & generous. Even the coffee was excellent.
What stood out most was the plating & attention to detail - honestly, it was surreal. Nothing felt random. Every dish looked carefully thought out, but still effortless & natural. The service had the same feeling: friendly, professional & relaxed.
Definitely a 10/10. Great food, great ambiance, & a place I'm already looking forward to going back to.
Lovely new place. the coffee was amazing & the food (breakfast sandwiches at least ) was great. Loved the croissant . overall great new spot. coming back forshu
Great place to come with one or more friends, for coffee, brunch, lunch, or casual dinner. Warm atmosphere, great service, friendly staff, & some of the n'est pizzas I've tasted outside of Italy! I was treated by a good friend :-)
Absolutely obsessed with Au Coin. This effortlessly trendy new spot is a dream for sourdough lovers-everything tastes thoughtful, high-quality, & genuinely delicious. The prices are shockingly affordable for the level of quality & flavor; I honestly can't remember the last time I paid so little for food this good.
Even the madeleine (which I usually couldn't care less about) completely won me over-soft & paired with the most perfect salty caramel. & the pizzas? An absolute HIT. The place was really bumping, but even without reservations the turnover felt smooth & totally manageable.
I wish them nothing but massive success & cannot wait to come back to try their coffee & breakfast/brunch menu. Au Coin is already a favorite in the making. 🍕✨
