Beef tartare is so delicious! Also ordered the 4 cheese, hot honey pizza. The pizza was amazing & the crust is perfection. The vibe of the resto is really chill & relaxing! 10/10 would recommend, & will be returning! 😊
I also went for breaky & had a cappuccino & the maple syrup crepes, which were very good👌
We got seated pretty quickly before the dinner rush. The waiters were pleasant. However, during the sudden dinner rush, it took us about an hour to get our 2nd course.
Appetizer highlight: beef tartare - melts in your mouth! Appetizer lowlight: patatas bravas - the potato isn't crunchy & there's not enough sauce to make up for how bland it tastes. My partner who's lived in Barcelona was disappointed by this dish.
The sausage pizza was amazing, the dough is so comforting & this was a good place to have a marguerita for a palette cleanser.
As for drinks, the Caesar tasted like a meal & I recommend getting a house drink!
Such a great addition to the neighbourhood, we got to try this new spot & it was very underrated. The tuna carpaccio was insanely fresh & the whole flavour combo was very well done. The patatas bravas with cured speck was very original & a crazy combination that paired super well together. The spritz was very refreshing, can't go wrong with a classic. The Nduja Romesco Pizza was the star of the show, such a delicious flavour combo & not too spicy either. For the price point this place was very well priced so I'd definitely recommend checking it out.
Also, this place is a cafe during the day so that's a plus!
La Dolce Vita di Mile-End !
Un lieu ambitieux, convivial-chic, romantique, foncièrement chaleureux. Un zest d'Europe avec une terrasse fleurie pour un café farniente en matinée ou pour manger dehors. Le service est top & chaleureux (merci Marc-Antoine).
Le soir on soupe aux chandelles, & des vraies !! En hiver c'est magique. Pas de réservation par contre, & donc un peu d'attente l'hiver.
Super déco & fleurs. Mémorable bouquet de pivoines, mais je me souviens aussi d'un triomphant bouquet de poireaux.
La nourriture est elle aussi à la fois classique & revisitée : la salade César par exemple est savoureuse, & la salade de radicchio est signature, je la recommande. Bonnes portions, & bel équilibre dans l'assaisonnement.
Les pizza sont napolitaines, elles sont bonnes mais la Margherita est peut-être un poil trop chère pour être vraiment de Napoli. J'ai donc été tentée par l'innovante thon/fenouil, sauce piquante. Pas mal du tout.
Très bel endroit, beaucoup de goût, de bonnes vibes, je recommande fortement.
Excellent restaurant que je recommande autant pour le déjeuner, le diner ou le souper.
Le tartare, les pizzas & les madeleines sont mes favoris.
Par contre attention, le service est long…
L'ambiance est tellement cozy & accueillante qu'on s'y sent chez soi dès qu'on entre. Dès 7h le matin, rien de mieux pour démarrer la journée. Le café est excellent, la nourriture toujours fraîche & délicieuse, & surtout, toute l'équipe est incroyable! Les serveuses & serveurs sont gentils, souriants, attentionnés, ce qui rend chaque visite encore plus agréable. Un endroit chaleureux, authentique & rempli de bonnes vibes. Je recommande sans hésiter !
Excellente nourriture, service incroyable, mention spéciale à notre serveuse Simone, décor magnifique. Je ne viens pas souvent à Montréal, mais depuis que c'est ouvert, j'y vais à chaque fois que je suis en ville & le recommande à tous mes amis! Allez y!
